Chapter 91: Drive away, find someone (1 / 2)

Shu Wan had bandaged her wound when Grandma Huo came out of the room.

"Xixi, how are you injured?" Grandma Huo exclaimed, looking worried.

"It's okay, just a minor injury."

Shu Wan put her hands behind her back, looked past Grandma Huo, and saw a man in the yard sorting out feathers.

Huo Zhengye looked serious. He compared the preparations with those prepared by Shu Wan while making his own.

Compared with having multiple helpers, Huo Zhengye made her more uncomfortable.

Since Huo Zhengye came here to see Grandma Huo, he should leave quickly after meeting her.

Shu Wan came up to Grandma Huo and said coquettishly, "Grandma, can you help me drive that man away?"

"Did he bully you?" Grandma Huo snorted.

Shu Wan narrowed her eyes, like a cunning little fox, and said deliberately: "He is a cruel bully. You have to help me teach him a lesson."

When Grandma Huo heard that her baby was bullied, she immediately rolled up her sleeves and planned to teach him a lesson and teach him a lesson.

Seeing Grandma Huo's posture, Shu Wan was afraid that Grandma Huo would attack again. She was not worried about Huo Zhengye, but she was afraid that Grandma would be tired.

"Grandma, don't act impulsively." Shu Wan couldn't help but remind her.

Grandma Huo snorted twice, took a heroic step, and walked towards the villain in the yard.

Huo Zhengye was tidying up his feathers when he felt a shadow falling in front of him. He looked up and saw Grandma Huo standing next to him, asking him fiercely, "Did you bully Xixi?"

Huo Zhengye opened his mouth. He seemed to have been bullying Shu Wan all the time.

He looked into the house from a distance, and saw a woman's figure faintly appearing behind the half-open door. The next second, the door suddenly closed.

Huo Zhengye smiled bitterly and agreed.

He turned to look at Grandma Huo. She was dressed neatly, had bright eyes, and looked very energetic.

"Grandma, are you used to living here? Come home with me." Huo Zhengye asked.

Just as Grandma Huo was about to shake her head, she suddenly thought of what Guan Meilian said, and her spirit was drained away a little, "Don't you mind me being a burden?"

Huo Zhengye's eyes fixed, and he asked in a deep voice, "Who said that?"

Grandma Huo was like a child who had found a backer. She immediately complained, "The old woman next door said I was a burden to Xixi. With me, Xixi can't get married."

Grandma Huo still feels angry when she thinks about it now, "Humph, I curse her son to lose all his hair, not even a single hair left."

"Grandma, you are not a burden to me, but... once Shu Wan and I's divorce application is approved, you can't live here anymore." Huo Zhengye's eyes were dim.

Now it was Grandma Huo's turn to be angry. Just now she had changed her opinion of this boy and thought he was a good person.

Humph, anyone who tries to separate her and Xixi is a bad person.

"I don't want to listen. Go away quickly. I don't want to see you." Grandma Huo pushed and pulled the person out.

"Grandma, I'll come to see you another day." Huo Zhengye pushed the door open and said to Grandma Huo.

Grandma Huo said impatiently, "Don't come here. Nothing good will happen when you come."

Outside the door, the corners of Huo Zhengye's mouth drooped, and his back looked lonely and desolate as he left.

Shu Wan was right. It was his own fault that the marriage ended like this. She was extremely disappointed and didn't want to continue it.

A trace of pain flashed across Huo Zhengye's eyes, and he couldn't help but stop and look back.

The courtyard was located deep in the alley, with the gate closed, cold and desolate.

The cool breeze blew away the thoughts in his heart, and Huo Zhengye turned and left. Since this was what Shu Wan wanted, how could he bear to refuse?
