Chapter 219: A Dream

Wen Qi came back to her senses and turned her head subconsciously, "I'm fine." She looked at her car, the hood was dented and white smoke was coming out. She was shocked and quickly went around to the other side and dragged the unconscious driver out.

The man also came forward to help, and the two of them worked together to carry the slightly fat driver to a farther place.

Wen Qi had already hit his head and had exerted a lot of strength, so when he stood up he suddenly felt dizzy and was about to fall as soon as he closed his eyes.

The man next to him quickly reached out his hand and supported Wen Qi, "You'd better sit down for a while. I've called an ambulance and the police. You just wait for a while, we can go to the hospital soon."

Wen Qi didn't try to be brave and sat down next to the driver, hugging his legs. "Thank you."

The man was a little embarrassed. "This incident was mainly our fault. If my driver hadn't suddenly braked, you wouldn't have hit us and you wouldn't have been injured."

Wen Qi looked up at him in surprise, pursed her lips and said nothing. The unconscious driver was lying on the side, and she couldn't say anything like "it's okay."

The man didn't say anything else and just stood aside quietly.

Wen Qi glanced at her shaking hands, and then she began to wonder. She always thought that her physique should be very good. At least she should be very strong, and she shouldn't be injured so easily. She should be very strong.

But the fact is, she has only been a disciple for two years. Even if she has been practicing with a master since she was a child, she should not be so strong considering her age of early twenties. It's too outrageous.

However, this impression seemed to be deeply rooted in her heart, and the more she thought about it, the more it seemed to be incongruous.

In a place she couldn't see, the flower vines emitted light again, and then the sound of an ambulance sounded. Wen Qi paused for a moment, instantly forgetting what he had just been entangled with, and stood up anxiously, "Here!"

The medical staff first gave the driver emergency treatment, and then quickly and steadily sent him to the ambulance. Wen Qi was injured in the head and was also taken to the hospital in the ambulance. A doctor cleaned her wound on the way.

After the wound was bandaged, Wen Qi suddenly thought of the man. Did he come to the hospital with her? Probably not. He didn't seem to be injured. He should have stayed there and waited for the traffic police to come and deal with it.

Arriving at the hospital, Wen Qi followed the medical staff to send the uncle to the emergency room. After a series of examinations, the doctor said that the driver was not seriously injured, but the collision was too sudden, and the tension and the collision caused him to fall into a coma.

To sum up, the driver fainted because he was scared by himself.

Wen Qi didn't know whether to laugh or cry after hearing this, but he also felt relieved in his heart. He could finally call the driver's family without any burden.

Less than ten minutes after hanging up the phone, hurried footsteps were heard. Wen Qi tilted his head and asked in surprise, "Why are you here?"

The man looked her up and down, and said with relief: "As the party responsible for the accident, I should show enough concern for the victim and provide certain medical compensation."

Wen Qi accepted his statement and said, "Then please wait a moment. The family members haven't arrived yet."

The man nodded, walked over to her side, and stood with her against the wall. After two seconds of silence, the man asked, "My name is Feng Yunxiang. Am I honored to be your friend? Although our first meeting was not very good, there must be some regrets in life, right?"

Wen Qi laughed, "Tell me the truth, are you attracted to me?"

Feng Yunxiang stood up a little straighter, his ears and neck turned red, but he still forced himself to look directly at Wen Qi, "Is it that obvious?"

Wen Qi nodded, "A little bit."

"Then can we still be friends?" Feng Yunxiang's eyes were a little nervous.

Wen Qi was a little dazed and subconsciously touched his ring finger, but felt nothing.

Feng Yunxiang took her silence as a refusal, and his bright eyes dimmed in an instant, "It doesn't matter if you can't."

"My name is Wen Qi. Sorry, I just had a headache and was a little distracted."

Feng Yunxiang immediately asked worriedly: "Do you want to find a place to rest? Has the doctor checked you? Is it true that you don't have a concussion?"

Wen Qi didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "It's not that serious, just a small cut, it doesn't even need stitches." After a pause, she said, "Thank you for your concern." Growing up, it seemed that no one except her master had ever cared about her like this.

In the next few days, Feng Yunxiang went straight into the house under the pretext of visiting the wounded.

Looking back, Wen Qi herself found it incredible that she let him in so easily? Was her vigilance also based on appearance?

"What do you want to eat today? I'll make it for you myself." Feng Yunxiang said with a smile.

Wen Qi was surprised, "You can cook?"

Feng Yunxiang raised his eyebrows, "Not only does it work, it's also delicious."

Wen Qi didn't believe it at all. After thinking for a while, he said, "Then let's cook some seafood noodles."

Feng Yunxiang frowned, "No, seafood is an irritant. Your wound hasn't healed yet, so you can't eat it. How about beef noodles?"

Wen Qi listened to the advice very much, nodded and agreed, and a bowl of delicious beef noodles unconsciously appeared in his mind.

After about ten minutes, Feng Yunxiang brought the beef noodles. It was exactly the same as she imagined. Wen Qi's eyes lit up and she couldn't wait to pick up a chopstick and put it in her mouth.

But after only two bites, the light in her eyes dimmed. The taste was not what she had imagined, and she didn't know what was missing.

Feng Yunxiang asked expectantly, "Is it delicious?"

Wen Qi still smiled and nodded, "It's delicious, thank you."

Feng Yunxiang breathed a sigh of relief, "As long as you like it."

While Wen Qi was eating, Feng Yunxiang was handling work emails on his computer. She always felt that this scene was very familiar, but she couldn't remember where she had experienced it before. After all, she had never been alone with the opposite sex since she was a child.

Could it be that this was a dream?

And when Wen Qi looked at Feng Yunxiang's profile, she felt vaguely that he looked like someone. That person was very handsome, had a good figure, cooked delicious noodles, and was very, very nice to her. That person...who was he?

Wen Qi put down his chopsticks and rubbed his aching forehead.

Feng Yunxiang noticed it, walked over and asked nervously: "What's wrong? Is your head hurting again? I'd better take you to the hospital."

Wen Qi raised her eyes and stared at Feng Yunxiang, the voice in her heart growing louder and louder - her man really doesn't look like this.

In an instant, the flower vine that had spread to the knees suddenly shrank back a little and returned to the calf.

Feng Yunxiang looked at Wen Qi with hazy eyes, and his heart suddenly moved. He actually lowered his head slightly, as if he wanted to kiss her directly.

At the moment he pressed down, a man's face suddenly flashed through Wen Qi's mind. She was startled and subconsciously raised her hand to push the man away.

Feng Yunxiang was caught off guard and tripped over a chair as he stepped back. With a "creak", he lost his balance and fell to the ground. Wen Qi seemed not to hear anything, as all his attention was occupied by the face that flashed in his mind. Then, memories related to this face came flooding back.

From meeting, knowing each other, to falling in love, the entire process is still vivid in my mind.

As Wen Qi recalled, everything around him stopped, and then shattered like a broken mirror. In a blink of an eye, the whole world collapsed.

When he opened his eyes again, Wen Qi saw Liu Ran, who looked anxious. The latter breathed a sigh of relief and said with some regret: "If you don't wake up, I'm going to slap you."

Wen Qi: ...It can be seen that there is a lot of resentment built up.
