Inside an abandoned warehouse.
Lin Qingyue was tied to a chair and couldn't move. She shouted, "Sister, are you next to me?"
"Qingyue, I'm here. Are you okay?" Lu Yawen's voice was tired and tearful.
"Sister, I'm fine, where are you?"
Just as he finished speaking, a masked man came in and shouted, "What are you two arguing about? Don't even think about escaping. The guns in the hands of the grandfathers have no eyes."
"Brother, I have no grudge against you. Why are you arresting us?" Lin Qingyue asked.
"No grudges? Your husband is not willing to let us go. But don't worry, the higher-ups have said that they won't take your lives. They're just going to teach Lu Siyi a lesson."
As expected, it is related to Lu Siyi. It seems that Lu Siyi has found out something and their interests have been affected.
She said calmly: "Why don't you let us go now? We didn't see your appearance clearly..."
"Don't be anxious. I caught you here just to lure your husband over..."

Suddenly a gunshot was heard and Lin Qingyue was startled. The gangsters guarding the door heard the gunshot and immediately fled.
They didn't even resist.
The two hostages, Lin Qingyue and Lu Yawen, were thrown into an abandoned warehouse, as if they had been forgotten.
They could have taken them as hostages, fought back vigorously, and finally suffered a loss, but they didn't, which shows that they have a bigger conspiracy.
They could shoot in broad daylight. She didn't think these people were kind-hearted.
There were several more gunshots outside. She was terrified. She was tied to a stool but could do nothing. She felt like meat on a chopping board.
She was deep in thought, and when she looked up again, she met Lu Siyi's eyes full of worry.
His eyes were bloodshot and he couldn't hide his anxiety on his face. He immediately untied Lin Qingyue and held her in his arms.
"I thought I would never see you again, just like Tang Zheng disappeared before my eyes."
Lin Qingyue gently hugged him back, and his whole body was shaking like a frightened beast.
For a moment, she forgot what she was going to do next and froze in place, letting him hold her like that.
After a long while, she slowly spoke: "It's okay, I'm safe now. They just wanted to warn us, they didn't really do anything to us."
Lu Siyi let her go, his eyes full of apology: "Qingyue, I will never let you encounter this kind of thing again."
Lin Qingyue's heart skipped a beat. Although it was her first time being kidnapped and she was still frightened, fortunately, overall, there were no thrilling plots. She was strong enough and felt that she could accept it.
On the other hand, Lu Siyi's expression looked as if he was the one who was kidnapped.
Lu Yawen was also rescued, and Lu Siyi explained: "Brother-in-law is leading another team to investigate."
Lu Yawen nodded without saying a word. She had already become numb. This was the awareness of a soldier's family.
