Lin Qingyue's sudden silence made Hu Xinghua realize that she had said the wrong thing.
She made two quick "Puh" sounds and said awkwardly, "The dishes in the kitchen have been cleaned. Let's go out quickly. I'm tired after a long day's journey and want to go to bed early."
"Didn't you book a hotel in advance?" Lin Qingyue wiped her hands, her tone much colder than before.
Hu Xinghua said cheekily: "I am the children's aunt, I don't mind squeezing in with them."
"We have only two bedrooms in our house, one for the children and one for my husband and me," said Lin Qingyue.
"Isn't Commander Lu still on a mission and hasn't come back yet?" Hu Xinghua regretted having said too much just now. She didn't want to offend the sister-in-law of the Lu family.
Lin Qingyue felt relieved and was too lazy to talk to her. "You and the eldest and third child can sleep in the children's room today. I will sleep in our master bedroom with Lu Yicheng."
"Okay, I'll follow my sister-in-law's arrangements." Hu Xinghua breathed a sigh of relief.
At night, Lin Qingyue was making the bed. Lu Yicheng sat on the sofa, his arms folded across his chest, looking at her busy back with a look of disappointment: "When are you going to drive her away?"
"She just arrived today and hasn't been in our house for half a day. It's not appropriate for us to chase her away, right?"
"You will regret it sooner or later!" Lu Yicheng predicted.
Without him in this family, sooner or later Hu Xinghua would have fooled him to death.

Lin Qingyue stopped what she was doing and laughed, "You have a bigger problem with your aunt than I thought."

He took off his shoes and went to bed in a huff.
The next morning, when Lin Qingyue got up, Hu Xinghua had already prepared breakfast.
The table was full of fried eggs, plain noodles, and a few side dishes.
"Sister-in-law Lu, it's convenient to eat vegetables here. It's not like in the village, where we only have the same few kinds of vegetables all year round. People in our village are sick of eating them."
Lin Qingyue looked at Hu Xinghua calmly, her brows twitching, and she told the children to eat quickly and go to school after dinner.
Lu Yiming and Sixi were listless, yawning and chewing noodles weakly.
"Did you two not sleep well last night?" Lin Qingyue asked with concern.
"It's my aunt snoring, it's so loud." Si Xi said with a frown.
Lu Yicheng chuckled: "Si Xi, sleep with your second brother tonight."
"Hmm!" Si Xi's eyes lit up instantly.
Hu Xinghua smiled awkwardly: "I must be too tired from traveling. I don't usually snore."
"Aunt, how could you lie to me? In the past, in the village, your snoring could be heard by people passing by the gate. It was very disturbing." Lu Yicheng said exaggeratedly. He just wanted to embarrass Hu Xinghua.
"How can you be so heartless, kid? Isn't it because I'm tired of taking care of you guys?" Hu Xinghua tried to smooth things over. She smiled embarrassedly and said, "Sister-in-law Lu, don't get me wrong. I really don't snore normally..."
"Aunt, you've seen all of us. When are you going back?" Lu Yicheng didn't give her any face at all.
"When I came here, my family told me that Sister-in-law Lu had worked hard to take care of you, so they asked me to stay here for a while longer."
Lin Qingyue frowned slightly. What did this mean? Staying at her house and not leaving?
