Chapter 265: More than just excitement?

Just as Jiang Huaiqing was about to struggle, seven or eight soldiers suddenly rushed into the room. They put on a veil that looked like a mandarin duck playing in the water and surrounded Jiang Huaiqing.

"What do you want to do!"

Jiang Huaiqing looked closely and saw that the person in the lead was an acquaintance, Zhao Dabao, the defeated subordinate who had called him a scum and had been beaten by him.

The soldiers were all passionate people. After the misunderstanding was explained, Jiang Huaiqing often got together with Zhao Dabao and they had a good relationship.

On the wedding day, his brothers did not accompany him to pick up the bride, but instead plotted for him to be married to the princess. Jiang Huaiqing was so angry that he cursed: "You traitor who has no regard for brotherhood!"

Zhao Dabao chuckled twice and glared back, "Jiang Er, our friendship is ours. The princess led us into battle and killed the enemy. We were like brothers. But now you're marrying me and entering the Jiang family. From now on, I'll serve my parents-in-law, bear children, and become a concubine in the inner chamber. Brothers, are you unhappy?"

Although the soldiers knew that the princess would get married one day and accepted it in their hearts, they hoped that the man would be worthy of the princess.

After getting to know each other for a while, I found that Jiang Huaiqing was not as dissolute as the rumors said. He was smart and capable, and he cared about the princess.

The soldiers could not find any fault, so they wanted to take advantage of the wedding day to give Jiang Huaiqing a warning so that he would have a clear understanding.

"The brothers in the North City Camp are all from the princess's family!"

Zhao Dabao raised his arms and shouted, knowing that he was no match for Jiang Huaiqing and would be at a disadvantage in a one-on-one fight, but he had help!

Almost in an instant, everyone rushed forward and forcibly held Jiang Huaiqing down.

Jiang Huaiqing was so angry that the veins on his forehead bulged, and he shouted angrily: "You despicable villains, I have always treated you as brothers!"

Zhao Dabao took two steps back and chuckled, "Jiang Er, even though we are brothers, we must be on guard against others. Even in the camp north of the city, there are barbarian spies."

A group of people escorted Jiang Huaiqing out of the tent, with the sound of firecrackers popping on both sides.

The firecrackers on the ground reflected on the white snow, adding a festive feeling to the dull winter day.

"Look, the groom is coming out!"

Zhao Dabao shouted and led the way.

As the group passed by a battlefield, they saw soldiers divided into several teams having a snowball fight.

Seeing the target person, everyone was extremely excited.

"Jiang Er, if you want to marry the princess, you have to overcome this obstacle!"

The soldiers threw snowballs in their hands, and the huge snowballs flew straight towards Jiang Huaiqing's face.

Jiang Huaiqing pulled off her veil and looked around.

“Bang!”

A snowball hit Zhao Dabao in the face. He couldn't dodge in time and was hit hard.

As the snow fell, Zhao Dabao, with his eyebrows and beard turning white, stood there in a daze.

Zhao Dabao still hasn't figured out why this link suddenly appeared?

"Do you have any aim? We agreed to beat up Jiang Er, why are you hitting me?"

It's unjust to hit your own people!

There were more than a hundred people on the battlefield, and Zhao Dabao had to draw a clear line between himself and Jiang Huaiqing. He just opened his mouth to speak, and then he felt a coldness in his mouth, and his mouth was blocked by a snowball.

Seeing Zhao Dabao's humiliation, Jiang Huaiqing patted the remaining snow on his hand and laughed, "So, you've been the bad guy, and now you're getting your comeuppance, right?"

"Good for you, Jiang Huaiqing!"

After spitting out the snow foam, Zhao Dabao rolled up his sleeves and joined forces with several people around him to attack Jiang Huaiqing. They all fought together.

"Zhao Dabao, they think we're one team. We can't fight among ourselves!"

Jiang Huaiqing rolled his eyes and decided to trick Zhao Dabao, "You come in front of me and lend me a hand."

With Zhao Dabao acting as a meat shield, and Jiang Huaiqing gathering a few more people to block the area around him, he would be spared from being attacked by the snowballs.

"Why? Jiang Er, you wish for it."

Zhao Dabao was there to create obstacles for Jiang Huaiqing, not to assist him.

Jiang Huaiqing was not in a hurry after being rejected. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "Are you sure?"

"If you miss the auspicious time, will the princess blame you for acting on your own?"

Jiang Huaiqing was not in a hurry. He sat on the ground leisurely and let them go. "They are so numerous and powerful that it will be difficult for the princess to deal with them. But you guys will become scapegoats."

Seeing that Zhao Dabao was somewhat interested, Jiang Huaiqing added fuel to the fire and continued to lobby: "The princess is a very protective person. She and I are husband and wife. Do you think she will be partial to outsiders like you?"

"Dabao, you and I are brothers. On this happy day, if you make me feel disappointed, I won't be able to get it back easily later!"

Jiang Huaiqing observed Zhao Dabao's words and expressions and seized a few points to break down his psychological defenses.

Zhao Dabao's face trembled, and finally he collapsed and acquiesced: "Okay, we brothers will escort you to the wedding, but although we have feelings for each other, we must also give benefits. How about a jar of Shaodaozi for each of us?"

"make a deal!"

Jiang Huaiqing readily agreed and passed the first level under the escort of several people.

He thought that he could marry Princess Yutan by dodging the attack of the snowball, but he was too naive. Not long after leaving the battlefield, he missed a step and fell into a trap.

Jiang Huaiqing: “…”

New Year’s Eve is really a happy day?

More than a dozen obstacles were set up. When Jiang Huaiqing arrived at the wedding tent, Princess Yutan glanced at the sky and said, "If you had come any later, we could have gone straight to the bridal chamber."

It started at dawn and lasted until the afternoon.

The camp's firefighters had already prepared more than twenty dishes. The army had never eaten such a sumptuous meal.

"I wish the princess and Mr. Jiang a long and happy marriage. Let's drink first to show our respect!"

The generals took the lead in raising their glasses and drinking them all. The other party's attitude was good, so Jiang Huaiqing felt relieved.

In another half an hour, the New Year's Eve dinner will begin.

Jiang Yuzhu took out a small box and secretly gave it to Princess Yutan, saying, "Second sister-in-law, this is a token of my gratitude as your younger sister."

Princess Yutan opened the box, glanced at it, and said with a smile, "Yuzhu, you are really amazing!"

An almost transparent bellyband with embroidery is perfect for the wedding night.

The two looked at each other, Princess Yutan blinked, and the aunt and sister-in-law understood each other tacitly.

No one dared to disturb the princess's bridal chamber. Seeing that Jiang Huaiqing was in a mess, Princess Yutan prepared hot water in advance.

The newlyweds returned to their room, and Jiang Huaiqing said awkwardly, "It's still early."

He had often laughed at Mo Qianyu in the past, and when it was his turn, Jiang Huaiqing couldn't let go.

Princess Yutan glanced at the sky, leaned back in her chair and said lazily, "Yes."

Then, the room fell into a long silence.

Princess Yutan closed her eyes to rest. Just as she was about to fall asleep, Jiang Huaiqing stood up and, mustering up the courage to speak, said, "Yutan, I learned a few barbarian moves during my time in Sishui City. How about we have a sparring match?"

Princess Yutan: "..."

So, the newlyweds started fighting in the tent, and Jiang Huaiqing, not paying attention, overturned the roof of the tent.

Seeing this scene, the soldiers who were waiting for the banquet to begin were stunned.

Zhao Dabao was startled and subconsciously asked, "Was Jiang Er's wedding night too intense?"

He was halfway through his words when he heard a loud bang and the tent collapsed.

The generals: "..."

It's more than just exciting.
