Xu Yan was being too conservative; the neighboring brigade found out that very night.
Some people even came over to watch the spectacle.
The matter has become quite a big deal.
After all, this was the first time such a situation had occurred in the Qingshan Brigade in so many years.
Song Guangming's face was as black as the bottom of a pot, and his eyes glared fiercely at Han Xiaoyu, as if he wanted to pounce on him and bite him.
When Chen Guizhen arrived after hearing the news, she hugged Sun Jiarou and started crying, cursing Han Xiaoyu for raping Sun Jiarou.
Sun Jiarou's four older brothers didn't let Han Xiaoyu speak before they pounced on him and started punching and kicking him.
If it weren't for the villagers pulling him back at the end, Han Xiaoyu would have had several ribs broken by the kick.
Xie Zhuo stood behind Xu Yan, and for a moment, a scene suddenly flashed before his eyes.
Everything before my eyes began to look somewhat unreal.
Han Xiaoyu on the ground slowly transformed into him...
Sun Jiarong kicked him hard in the stomach, and his stomach and other organs immediately felt a sharp pain. Before he could explain, Sun Jiarong kicked him in the face again.
Xie Zhuo slowly raised his hand and touched the corner of his mouth.
The corner of his mouth was cut by teeth, and blood slid down his lips and dripped onto the farmland, where it quickly clumped together with the fine soil, forming a small ball of earth.
He curled up his body.
"You dare to make a move on my sister!" Sun Jiarong cursed viciously.
Sun Jiarou just cried.
While crying, Chen Guizhen tightly hugged her collar with her hands, and said the same thing.
They scolded him, saying that because he didn't want to wait for Sun Jiarou to finish her mourning period, he had the audacity to try to force himself on her.
The truth is, this was the land that Sun Guoan had assigned to him. As soon as he arrived, Sun Jiarou was lying there with two buttons undone on her shirt. As soon as he got close, she grabbed his arm and started yelling.
Han Xiaoyu was standing not far away waiting. The moment he heard the noise, he pounced on him and pressed him down.
Then, a bunch of people pressed down on them.
He wanted to explain, but couldn't open his mouth.
He could only endure the excruciating pain and be wrongly accused and sent to the police station.
The scene appeared out of nowhere, but Xie Zhuo felt so real that he could hardly breathe. The triumphant smiles of Han Xiaoyu and the Sun family made his head buzz briefly.
"What's wrong?" Xu Yan noticed that Xie Zhuo was acting strangely and looked at him with some concern.
While they were squeezed in the crowd, and everyone was watching Chen Guizhen's drawn-out wailing, she quietly grabbed Xie Zhuo's hand and squeezed it.
Xie Zhuo paused for a few seconds before shaking his head. "It's nothing."
"Tired?" Xu Cangsong noticed their movements and turned his head.
"Come on, stop looking, go back to sleep," Chen Lihua shone her flashlight on her watch. "It's almost midnight."
Since the two of them had to take a car back early the next morning, Xie Zhuo and Xu Yan didn't plan to watch the excitement anymore, and the four of them turned around and walked home.
However, Xie Zhuo was unusually silent tonight.
The next morning, Xie Zhu asked the captain for leave and, together with Xu Yan, rode in Zhao Bin's car to take Chen Lihua and Xu Cangsong to the train station.
After spending this time together, Xu Yan genuinely felt reluctant to part with the two of them.
The parental love she hadn't experienced in her previous life had become something she was somewhat immersed in during these short two weeks.
“We’ll come to visit you when we have the chance,” Xu Yan said.
"Okay, Mom will wait," Chen Lihua was also reluctant to part with Xu Yan, and patted her back for a long time.
“The two of you are doing well,” Xu Cangsong patted Xie Zhuo on the shoulder.
“Dad, you and Mom, please take care of yourselves too,” Xie Zhuo said.
“Okay,” Xu Cangsong nodded, then glanced at Xu Yan, “We’re leaving Yan Yan in your care. She’s been spoiled since she was little, so please be more tolerant of her.”
“No, she’s really nice,” Xie Zhuo said.
He spoke with great sincerity, and considering his performance over this period, Xu Cangsong was honestly quite reassured.
After seeing the person off, Xie Zhuo and Xu Yan went to the department store and bought some snacks.
Da Bao and Xiao Bao cried until their eyes were swollen when they learned that their grandparents were leaving. Xie Zhuo was afraid that the train station would be too crowded and they wouldn't be able to take care of them, so he didn't bring them with him.
I'm planning to buy some food to coax him back home.
The story of Han Xiaoyu and Sun Jiarou has spread quite widely; even in department stores, people are chatting about them while eating sunflower seeds.
Xie Zhuo's expression changed.
The scene he had seen last night unexpectedly came to mind.
My head started buzzing again.
"Are you feeling unwell?" Xu Yan frowned as she looked at him.
"It's nothing," Xie Zhuo shook his head.
"Let's go to the hospital to get checked out," Xu Yan said, still frowning, reaching for the basket on Xie Zhuo's back. "Could it be heatstroke? It's been so hot lately."
"I'm not that delicate," Xie Zhuo smiled, holding onto the basket tightly.
In the end, Xu Yan couldn't persuade him otherwise, so the two of them went to the hospital. The doctor carefully took Xie Zhuo's pulse and confirmed that he was healthy and had not suffered from heatstroke.
Xu Yan was relieved a little.
However, as the two were walking out of the hospital, Xie Zhuo suddenly said that he had forgotten something and needed to go back in one more time.
"What's wrong?" Xu Yan asked, somewhat puzzled.
Xie Zhuo looked at her without saying anything.
Xu Yan stood at the hospital entrance for half a day, until one evening when he saw Xie Zhuo take out a small box and read the words on it. Only then did he realize what Xie Zhuo had done back at the hospital.
It turns out he heard everything Chen Lihua said in the kitchen that day.
Of course, that's all in the future. Xu Yan doesn't know yet. He asked him several times, but he didn't say anything.
Han Xiaoyu's ending is very different from Xie Zhuo's ending in the original book.
