Chapter 21 The Bed



Xu Yan reached out and touched the bed; it was indeed very hot.

But she still placed her suitcase in her designated spot, then took off her shoes and climbed onto the kang (a heated brick bed), keeping her body as close to the wall as possible to avoid the sun.

Xu Yan slept very soundly. If it weren't for her hunger and the constant talking and banging sounds next to her, she wouldn't have woken up at all.

After saying that, he slammed the door shut.

Liang Qian immediately smashed the basin in her hand on the ground with a bang.

The other educated youths were initially watching coldly, and to be honest, they also felt that the two of them had started this whole thing, so they let them make a scene, thinking that maybe Xu Yan would see their sincerity and stop asking them for money.
