Qin Liang immediately drove Jiang Jingxue to the seafood supermarket.
Gu Pingwei entered the supermarket and searched around but couldn't find Jiang Jingxue.
He asked the military wives who worked there, but none of them had ever seen her.
Qin Liang scratched his head, completely bewildered.
"That's not right, Major. I brought your wife here at 8:30. These military wives start work at 9:00. There's only half an hour in between. Where could your wife have gone?"

Gu Pingwei's gaze was sharp, and his expression was stern.
"Given her personality, she wouldn't leave the door open! Even if she really had to go out, she would make arrangements in advance; it's impossible for everyone to be unaware!"
Gu Pingwei's intuition told him that something must have happened to Jiang Jingxue.
The only thing that's certain is that the person disappeared in the supermarket! And the disappearance occurred within the last half hour!
The military wives also learned about Jiang Jingxue's disappearance and were extremely anxious.
They suspended their business early, wanting to help each other find Jiang Jingxue.
But everyone was clueless and had no idea where to look for her.
"I'm asking you, when you came to the supermarket today, did you notice anything unusual?"
The military wives shook their heads.
"Nothing unusual was found."

One of the military wives spoke up.
“When I came here today, I saw Yao Guilan standing at the door. She said she was getting some fresh air. I felt that her behavior was a bit strange, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on why.”
"In that case, Yao Guilan and Jiang Zhizhi should have been the first to enter the supermarket after the incident."
"Qin Liang, go and bring Yao Guilan and Jiang Zhizhi, mother and daughter, over here!"
