Yue Keqi is even spreading rumors about her own father.
Professor Yue was furious.
"Nonsense!"
"I've kept a clean record for so many years, when have I ever been allowed to give false testimony for someone else?"
"This is the approval document from above. Jiang Jingxue's application to join the Party was obtained legitimately, and she deserves it!"
Professor Yue took the approval document out of his pocket.
It was written very clearly in black and white on the paper, and there was even an official seal.
The director took the approval document, looked at it, and nodded.
This is indeed a proper procedure, which is enough to prove Jiang Jingxue's innocence.
Yue Keqi, however, was trapped in her own fantasy and could not extricate herself.
She insisted, "This approval document must be fake! It's forged!"
"Dad, how could you help Jiang Jingxue cheat? How could you deceive everyone?"
Professor Yue could no longer tolerate it and slapped Yue Keqi hard across the face.
"You unfilial daughter! Shut up!"
Professor Yue used a lot of force in that slap.
Yue Keqi's face was swollen.
She covered her face blankly, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Professor Yue, suppressing the pain in his body from anger, walked up to the director and apologized: "It was indeed I who submitted Comrade Jiang Jingxue's application to join the Party. I have failed to properly educate my daughter and have caused you trouble."
He then approached Gu Pingwei with an apologetic expression.
"Pingwei, I'm so sorry, it's my fault for not disciplining my child properly."
"This is Jiang Jingxue's letter of recommendation for joining the Party. I have already written it."
Professor Yue handed the letter of recommendation to Gu Pingwei.
Gu Pingwei took it.
"Keqi is young and inevitably makes mistakes, I won't take it to heart."
Professor Yue has to swallow his pride and clean up the mess that Yue Keqi made.
Seeing Yue Keqi still crying and sobbing, Professor Yue's anger rose from his heart.
"Hurry up and come home with me! Stop making a fool of yourself here!"
Professor Yue led Yue Keqi out of the director's office.
On the road.
While crying, Yue Keqi said, "Pingwei is about to marry Jiang Jingxue. Once he marries that woman, I will have absolutely no chance!"
“I don’t want Pingwei to marry that woman. I don’t want Pingwei to be taken away by another woman.”
Professor Yue threw a sentence at her with a look of disappointment.

Gu Pingwei said calmly, "I'll go there myself."
He wanted to see where they had taken Jiang Jingxue.
Was she actually harmed?
Two police officers led the way, and the station chief accompanied Gu Pingwei toward the interrogation room.
At this moment, Jiang Jingxue was still sitting on the tiger bench, her hands cuffed.
As soon as the interrogation room door opened, Gu Pingwei saw Jiang Jingxue handcuffed, and his gaze suddenly darkened.
"What law did my wife break? Are you planning to torture her?"

Jiang Jingxue stretched her wrists and came to the director.
"You must be the director?"

"We can't entirely blame them."
Jiang Jingxue glanced at the two policemen.
