The abbot refused to release them, his eyes filled with malice.
"I don't like your haggling. Just drink the medicine and I'll release the person."
"This is good for everyone, so why not do it?"
Xiao Tang scoffed lightly.
She approached the old monk.
The abbot was startled for a moment, and the medicine bowl in his hand wobbled and flew out of his hand.
The medicine was spilled all over the floor.
Di Yanqing screamed in fright when he saw the medicine almost spill on his feet.
He was surprised and terrified, but thankfully he didn't run into him.
"Don't come any closer!"
The abbot roared in repulsion at Xiao Tang's approach.
"How can I not come over? You've already spilled most of the medicine. I'll give it to you to drink."
The abbot frowned. "You're willing?"
"certainly."
"You're willing to sacrifice yourself just for a child?" the abbot asked suspiciously.
Since it's not their own child, no one should be able to do what Xiao Tang did.
Xiao Tang shrugged gently. "Of course, why not?"
Taking advantage of the abbot's momentary lapse in concentration, she swiftly snatched the abbot's medicine bowl.
She chuckled: "It's just a medicine, you think you can just let them go after they drink it?"
The abbot showed no panic when he saw that his hands were empty.
He nodded slightly.
He said heavily, "Don't hesitate, drink it quickly!"
A sly glint flashed in Xiao Tang's eyes.
She gave a sly smile and said, "Sure, of course I'll drink it."
As soon as she finished speaking, she slammed the medicine bowl in her hand down onto the old monk's face!
