Chapter 73 He Wants to Keep Me as a Sugar Daddy
Hengxing rode his electric scooter back to the bakery.
It was getting late, and the bread was sold out. The man was in the kitchen organizing the utensils and ingredients for tomorrow. She greeted him and went upstairs to take a shower. After showering, she dried her wet hair and went back to her room to rest.
The man had already closed the shop and came specifically to wait for her outside room T, wanting to ask about what happened this afternoon.
Seeing him standing there, Hengxing magically produced a bouquet of roses from behind her back and presented it to him, then tilted her head and waited for his praise.
Surprised by the unexpected little surprise, the man happily accepted the flowers, inhaling the fragrance of the roses. He quickly found a pretty vase, pulled the flowers out of the newspaper, put them in the vase, and placed it on his bedside table next to a family photo from over ten years ago.
After he finished everything and came to his room with curiosity and questions in his eyes, Hengxing felt something was wrong and asked him, "Dad, what's wrong?"
The man thought for a moment and asked her, "Did you send flowers to your classmates?"
He had never seen his daughter standing so close to her classmates before, but he had never heard her mention it before. He figured that teenagers might not like their parents talking about their privacy, so he found a roundabout way to approach the topic.
"Why do we have to give them away?" Hengxing was unaware that her father had caught her and Yu Nianqing. "If we give one person a gift, then everyone else won't buy anything, and I'll have to give them all away myself."
Dad was silent for a few seconds, then said, "I saw you riding your electric scooter with a male classmate this afternoon. Who is he?"
Let's be straightforward; this silly child won't understand anything.
“He’s not my classmate,” Hengxing said. “I saw him on my way to the flower market. He said he wanted to come with me, so I took him along.”
"So you two must have a pretty good relationship."
The man knew his daughter's personality—she wouldn't do anything without a reason.
Heng Xing: "He said he wants to buy a spaceship tomorrow."
I see.
"Okay, you must be tired from the exam today. Go to bed early and stop playing on the terminal." He sighed and closed the door for her.
I was really tired from driving around all day, and Hengxing fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
Perhaps because the pressure of the long-term exam suddenly disappeared, she felt uneasy and her body had not yet adapted. She had a dream in which she heard intermittent crying and panting, and saw smooth body lines and smooth skin.
The next morning, Hengxing got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower without saying a word.
how so.
After taking a shower, she sat on the front desk on the first floor, lost in thought. Is this what the adult world is like?
But she clearly turned 18 six months ago.
And why is Mr. Yu the protagonist of the dream?
Hengxing secretly felt ashamed of himself, and his actions in the dream were extremely rough.
She felt guilty all day long, until noon when she habitually opened the real estate transaction website and found that the link to the house she had been longing for had disappeared.
She quickly sent a private message to the landlord, who told her that the house had been bought in full at midnight last night. The buyer was generous and placed the order and paid directly without any bargaining or communication.
This wasn't the only piece of news that caused her distress.
As if on cue, Yu Nianqing messaged her in the afternoon, saying he had changed his mind and didn't want to buy the spaceship anymore.
Hengxing felt like the sky was about to fall.

Using a strategy of first downplaying then elevating the message can amplify the positive impact of good news, making it even more effective.
But after Yu Nianqing told Heng Xing that she wasn't going to buy the spaceship, Heng Xing never replied to her messages again.
Why didn't things go as he expected?
Yu Nianqing felt like she had messed up and needed to talk to her and clear things up quickly.
He immediately went out, got on the electric scooter that Hengxing had previously fixed for him, and went to the bakery to find her.
"Hengxing?" Hengxing's father told him, "She went out."
Yu Nianqing asked him anxiously, "Do you know where Hengxing went?"
"I'm sorry, sir, she left without saying anything." The other person looked at him apologetically.
Yu Nianqing sensed something else hidden in his eyes, but didn't pay attention. Upon hearing this, he quickly got on his electric scooter and headed to the next place to look for the person. He went to the repair shop and the school, but couldn't find the person.
After feeling lost, he suddenly remembered the most likely place.
By the time he found Hengxing, it was almost six o'clock. Although the sunlight was still bright, it was time for dinner.
She leaned against the swing with her eyes closed, swaying from side to side; her restless toes revealed that she was not asleep.
"Xingxing, what are you doing here?" Yu Nianqing approached her cautiously.
Heng Xing opened her eyes, the sunlight shining directly into her pupils, somewhat dazzling, but it did not prevent her from clearly seeing the figure of the person who came. "Mr. Yu, what brings you here?"
Strangely, even though the person in front of her had a very low credit score and ran away with the order immediately after receiving her top-notch customer service, she wasn't angry as she had imagined. She even felt a little guilty about her dream last night.
Her eyes, illuminated by the light, were as clear as glass beads. "I've come to say goodbye. Others will be living here from now on."
"Why?" Hengxing muttered to himself, puzzled. "The housing prices here are obviously too high, the location isn't good, and it's so old. It only has emotional value. Why would anyone other than me be a sucker to buy it?"
"Is that guy rich and has nowhere to spend his money? If he wants to spend money, he can buy a spaceship from me..."
Seeing her sitting alone on the swing, muttering to herself, Yu Nianqing couldn't help but chuckle and walked over to sit down in the empty seat next to her.
Hengxing rested her chin on her hand and looked at him. "What are you laughing at?"
She still didn't feel angry; this emotion was too unfamiliar to her, and even if she did grasp it, she wouldn't understand it.
He said, "I originally wanted to give you a surprise."
“The spaceship means nothing to me anymore.” Hengxing turned to look at the colorful wildflowers beside the fence. “You know, I planted the seeds for those flowers. I didn’t expect they weren’t for me to see.”
Yu Nianqing followed her gaze to the thriving little flowers swaying in the wind. "Would you pull them out?"
Heng Xing: "No."
"I'm just a little unhappy. I'll leave when it gets dark."
"You can come again in the future," Yu Nianqing hinted.
Hengxing angrily tugged at the rope twice, "They won't agree."
Yu Nianqing: "Who said that? I'm willing."
Heng Xing: "What do you have to offer..."
She turned her head: "???"
“Xingxing, I bought this house.” Yu Nianqing raised her hand and touched her hair, which was tangled with the swing ropes.
Why do you want to buy it?
Heng Xing frowned. "Don't you already have a place to stay? This place isn't going to appreciate in value."
Yu Nianqing confessed, "I originally wanted to buy you a spaceship, but I saw that you liked this house more."
"Why?" She looked completely bewildered, like a student whose mind goes blank when asked a question after daydreaming in class.
Yu Nianqing found her expression incredibly cute, and generously reached out to ruffle her unruly curly hair. The golden sunlight reflected off her golden hair onto his hand, making his entire palm look as if it had been painted with gold.
He slowly approached and gently placed a kiss on her lips, as warm as the sunlight.
"Because I like you."

The wind chimes hanging at the shop entrance made a crisp sound.
The man looked up and saw his daughter walk in absentmindedly. "Xingxing, someone just came looking for you."
"Yes, I know," Hengxing replied, slowly floating upstairs.
The man wanted to ask her about the back seat of the electric scooter from yesterday; he recognized him as the gentleman who had just come to see Hengxing.
But he looks quite old, at least ten years older than her.
The man still had a romantic streak; he could still recall the feeling of being moved when he first met that female Alpha. Therefore, he had no intention of interfering in his daughter's love life.
He has always been tolerant of his children; their happiness is the most important thing.
Leaning back on the sofa, Heng Xing dialed Chu Le's number. "Hey, are you free right now?"
"It's okay, can I ask you a question? I feel like you know a lot about this. Don't you change partners every year? You should know a lot about this, right?"
"It's nothing big, someone just bought me a house as a gift, said he likes me, and even kissed me..."
"What? You're asking me what I want to ask? I want to ask you, does he really like me?"
"Do I like him? I don't know, but I don't dislike him either. How old is he? A bit older than me, probably in his late twenties or almost thirty."
"Is that so? Oh, I see. You mean he wants to keep me as a sugar daddy?"
