Just then, a voice suddenly came from beside Quill and the raccoon, and Quill nodded in agreement upon hearing it.

A moment later, Quill realized what was happening and looked around. The person who had come was the commander of Xandar.

As Gel watched the figure plummeting rapidly through the sky, a sudden alarm bell rang in his mind, and his voice carried an indescribable heaviness: "Thanos?"
