Chapter 152 Celestial Race Igor
Tony's memories were suddenly pulled back several years by Gel's words.
It was after Tony was controlled by Hydra that Gerald said those words to him. Because they were so deeply etched in his memory, Tony still remembered every single word.
Gel said that if one day all the troubles are over, and Gel's portal can open to other planets, then Gel will take all the people he knows to travel to other planets and see the scenery that is completely different from that on Earth.
Tony responded with a laugh, saying that he would bring Potts along, Banner would bring Betty, and there would also be Spider-Man, Green Wind, and their whole family, a large group of them going on a grand trip.
It seems that now is indeed the right time, and the number of people is even greater than previously estimated.
"Of course I remember. But, are there any fun places to visit?" Tony asked with a smile. Interstellar travel was an irresistible temptation for someone like him who loved space and mechanics.
“There’s a place I think would be a good first stop,” Ger said, his gaze falling on Quill.
Quill was calming the restless Rocket Raccoon while quietly scolding it. After a moment, sensing something was wrong, he looked up and found everyone staring at him. He immediately shrank back and asked, somewhat bewildered, "What's wrong?"
Gel glanced at the watch on Quill's wrist: "Didn't you want to find your father? I'm planning to take all these people on a trip to your father's planet."
Gel remembers that Quill's father, Ego, was originally a planet, Ego's Planet, arguably the most beautiful planet in the released Marvel movies. If we were to take everyone on an interstellar trip, Ego's Planet would be the perfect first stop.
“Didn’t you tell me before that my so-called father…” Quill looked at Gel blankly, not knowing what to say for a moment.
He'd never even met his father in his life, and the first time he went to see him, it was with a huge group of people on a trip? And wasn't that man supposed to be a bad person?
All things considered, doesn't it sound as unreliable as Rocket Raccoon's thought process?
“Your father wants to destroy the universe with his children every day, and he’ll come after you one day, so why not help you deal with him first?” Quill was completely unaware of the inside story, so his face was full of doubt.
Gel didn't say much, but told Quill, "We'll talk to Yondu about this later. We'll need to find out the location of Ego Star from Yondu anyway."
In Geer's memory, Ego was also someone who wanted to destroy the universe. Taking advantage of this opportunity, while traveling, he could also take care of him.
Moreover, it was just something I did on a whim.
After speaking, Ger looked at the others, glanced around, and asked, "Does anyone have any objections?"
"No objection."
"Let's go out and play!"
"Let's get going."
"..."
Harry, Peter, and Pietro had already started to cheer, laughing and joking. The dozen or so people in the room watched them play and smiled.
Even Bronsky, standing on the far side, was smiling broadly. Initially, he only helped Gear because Gear had helped him merge with Abomination and given him a relatively peaceful life; he felt indebted to Gear and thus continued to assist him. However, he rarely interacted with the other Avengers members.
He had no family, no friends, but after spending so much time with the Avengers, fighting alongside them, and even sometimes living in the same building, they inevitably came into contact. Over time, they communicated more and even gradually became friends. Even Banner, whom he had previously hated, became a familiar figure to him.
Now, he seems to have a sense of belonging to a family, and he feels a warmth he has never experienced before.
For some reason, Bronsky suddenly turned his gaze to Natasha.
Natasha was standing in another corner opposite, laughing and clapping. When Bronsky looked over, Natasha seemed to sense it and nodded back at him.
Her heart had been wandering for so long, and finally, she had a home to rest in.
"Your families can come later. This group will scout ahead first for this interstellar trip," Gerr said to everyone. Of course, a large part of this was also meant for Harry and Peter, to have them relay the message to Uncle Norman, Uncle Ben, and Aunt May.
Although Uncle Norman, Uncle Ben, and Aunt May are old, ever since Gol and Wanda revealed their identities to them, Gol and Wanda have taken turns using chaos magic to heal their bodies.
Uncle Norman, Uncle Ben, and Aunt May are all in incredibly good physical condition.
"Everyone, I'll take Quill to find someone to ask about some things first. I'll be back soon, and then we'll set off." Gel opened a spatial portal and led Quill inside.
When Gol found Yondu and asked for the location of Ego's Star, Yondu immediately refused: "Do you know how terrifying Ego is? I know his background, so I advise you to give up this idea. Of course, it's not that I don't believe in your abilities, but..."
Yondu only learned of Gol's identity as the powerful, mysterious figure after the Battle of Xandar, from others. However, he was equally aware of Ego's terrifying nature. After all, it was he who had given Ego's children away one by one, which was why he was expelled from the Raider Fleet by the Stakkas.
If he hadn't felt compassion when he saw Quill, Quill would probably be one of Ego's countless dead children now!
