Chapter 72 A Telephone Call from Jane Foster
Three weeks have passed since the S.H.I.E.L.D. explosion. The hot topics across the United States remain the S.H.I.E.L.D. explosion and Iron Man's announcement of a temporary retirement.
The focus in New Mexico was gradually replaced by another bizarre event: a deep crater suddenly appeared on a dormant volcano, with a hammer standing in the center. It was as if the crater had been created by this hammer.

At noon, having finally finished all his work, Geer opened the portal to his home.
"Brother, I just finished cooking, come and eat with us." In the kitchen, Wanda placed a bowl of freshly stir-fried chicken on the table. Seeing Gel walk out of the portal, she immediately smiled and said to him.
The midday sun was shining brightly, streaming in through the window and illuminating the entire room. Wanda seemed to be bathed in a light, giving her a radiant and lovely appearance.
When Ger saw Wanda, he relaxed a bit: "Okay, let's have dinner together."
Come to think of it, he's been so busy lately that he hasn't had a proper meal many times.
On the wooden table, spicy stir-fried chicken, corn and pork rib soup, preserved egg and tofu, cold pig's ear salad, and rice were already laid out.
At that moment, Wanda was getting another bowl of rice for Ger.
"Did you buy these two dishes in China?" Ger asked, pointing to the preserved egg tofu and the cold pig's ear salad.
Although Pietro and Wanda, influenced by him, love Chinese cuisine and often cook Chinese dishes, they have never made these two dishes before.
Wanda nodded: "I found several relatively hidden places in China where I can open portals, so I've been changing my appearance frequently lately to find all sorts of delicious food in China. These two are my recent favorites."
By this time, Pietro had already heard the noise from the kitchen and rushed in from his room.
"Why didn't you help Wanda cook?" Ger looked at Pietro, slowly sat down, and asked.
Although cooking is not a troublesome task for the three of them, the Geer family has a habit of cooking together as long as there are people at home.
Pietro scratched his head, a slight smirk on his face: "I've just grown too much in ability and need to get used to it."
As Wanda sat down, she pursed her lips at Pietro: "Playing several video games at the same time, you call that familiarity?"
The aroma of the food wafted over, and the three of them were quite hungry. As they talked, they began to pick up food with their hands.
"Isn't it because my abilities have increased too much? I need to find some fun to familiarize myself with them." Pietro said excitedly while eating. "Brother, I recently had a match with Wanda and found that Wanda can no longer do anything to me, and even Peter is no match for me."
Gel nodded, indicating that he understood.
After being modified with the Extremis Serum and aided by Venom, Peter is now able to fight the Hulk head-on. The only thing he can't match is the Hulk's insane defense.
But against Pietro, whose speed had been terrifyingly enhanced, Peter's spider-sense was completely unable to react. Even though he could hold out for a while thanks to his physical abilities, he ultimately had to succumb to Pietro's onslaught.
Not to mention Wanda, who has only unlocked her abilities through the Space Stone.
It's fair to say that among this group of superpowered individuals, only Ger can reliably defeat Pietro.
"Brother, how's Dr. Banner's research going?" Wanda asked Ger, her brow furrowing slightly.
Gel shook his head and smiled reassuringly at Wanda: "Give Banner a little more time, and maybe he'll be able to develop a serum that's suitable for both of us."
Perhaps due to their possession of chaos magic, in Banner's testing experiments, Gale and Wanda's blood were extremely incompatible with the Extremis serum.
"Okay." Wanda lowered her head dejectedly and ate her rice, her peach-blossom face full of bitterness.
Only Pietro, while excitedly eating, said, "I'm telling you, even if you inject this serum, what good will it do? It won't affect your chaos magic at all. Are you going to end up like your brother Peter, relying on brute force to fight enemies? Even then, you still can't beat me. You know how fast I am right now..."
Although they are twins and have always been very close, like all twins, they argue about everything, from food and clothing to housing and transportation, and even their age.
The question of who is stronger has been a point of contention between the two ever since they discovered their powers. Previously, their fighting abilities were evenly matched, with neither able to gain the upper hand. But now, Pietro's abilities have increased, allowing him to easily break through Wanda's defenses. Under these circumstances, Wanda doesn't even have a chance to escape using a portal.
