Chapter 74 Extracting Information from Loki
Ger opened his hand slightly, and a ball of scorching flame rose from his palm. In an instant, the temperature around the two of them rose sharply, and the flames made their faces glow red.
A moment later, the flames disappeared from Ger's hand.
Thor seemed to have found a kindred spirit: "You're a mage from Midgard? Can you help me remove the seal within me?"
Gel shook his head: "The power of this seal is too strong; I have absolutely no ability to break it."
Of course, Ger didn't tell the truth.
Although the seal contained great magical power, it was not to the point that he could not break through it completely. Presumably, when Odin set up the seal, he left a little room for Thor to break it on his own, so he did not set up a seal that was too powerful.
Gol simply didn't want to disrupt Odin's plans. After all, Odin sealed Thor's power and banished him to Earth because Thor was too arrogant at the time, and he needed to be allowed to "grow" on Earth.
"Thanks anyway," Thor said loudly, as if it were nothing. "So, how are we going to get there?"
Gel pointed to a spot not far away: "My car is over there."
Although the sky was now completely obscured by dark clouds and the light was dim, Thor's eyesight was excellent, and he could clearly see the direction Ger was pointing to—a house with many cars parked there.
Beside the car stood many S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Jane and Daisy were standing a little further away, whispering to each other.
"Jane, when exactly did you meet that S.H.I.E.L.D. officer? I didn't know about it," Daisy blinked, asking curiously. "Or is he one of your many suitors?"
That Coulson guy, who manages so many agents, and with that smug look on his face, he's clearly a high-ranking officer. But after just one phone call, he immediately changed his mind, agreeing to let them participate in the research, and his attitude towards them did a complete 180-degree turn.
Even Eric found it hard to believe all of this.
"What nonsense are you talking about? That person looked to be in his early twenties. He was just interested in the Einstein-Rosen bridge, so we just happened to meet." Jane thought back on it now and also found it a bit unbelievable.
She originally thought her equipment was gone, since even Eric advised her to give up, but unexpectedly, this person she met by chance helped her solve the problem.
Next, they would follow Coulson to other places to continue their research, and Coulson also agreed to take her to see the "Meow Hammer" and the deep pit once.
"Becoming a commander in your early twenties? That's impressive. Haven't you been worried about blind dates lately? Perhaps you could take advantage of this opportunity..." Daisy hadn't finished speaking when she felt Jane gently tug at her sleeve, and she immediately shut her mouth.
Then, Daisy followed Jane's gaze and couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!"
Not far away, a burly, mature man and a sunny young man walked side by side.
The mature man was Thor, whom she had met a few times. She remembered the muscular physique he had displayed when changing clothes not long ago. Thor looked to be in the prime of his life, exuding a strong masculine charm.
The young man next to him, who looked to be in his early twenties, had slightly curly blond hair that was casually draped over his head. Compared to Thor beside him, he appeared much thinner, but he possessed the sunshine and vigor unique to youth.
Both of them are the kind of people who are extremely good-looking.
But Daisy noticed that Jane's expression seemed a little off, as if it carried a deep sense of doubt.
“Gale?” Jane looked at Gale as he and Thor approached and spoke slowly.
She clearly recognized Ger, but she didn't expect that the person she had just spoken to would be here now.
"And the two of you..."
Why did Ger end up with Thor?
Not wanting Jane to misunderstand, Gerl smiled and explained, "I was on vacation nearby and came over after hearing your call, and then I ran into Mr. Saul. So don't misunderstand, I knew nothing about taking your equipment earlier."
After thinking for a moment, Jane nodded: "Gell, thank you for what you just said."
She's just an astrophysicist, not worth all that effort from Gerfel to put on a show for her.
Then Jane turned her gaze to Saul, and Saul turned his gaze to Jane as well.
Looking at their expressions, Ger smiled inwardly—these two must have hit it off a long time ago.
“Coulson, give me a car. I need to take Thor to Mjolnir.” Gol turned to Coulson, who was walking towards him.
Coulson's expression was quite subtle at this moment. He pointed at Thor, clearly wanting to ask Ger something.
Gel nodded, indicating that his guess was correct.
Coulson glanced quickly at Thor, his face filled with disbelief. After a moment, Coulson handed a car key to Gel, saying meaningfully, "Should I come with you?"
Ger took the key and shook his head at him discreetly: "No need, you can go do your thing."
After saying that, Gel walked toward the car: "Let's go, Thor."
The sky grew darker, and the thick clouds seemed to press down. Suddenly, a clap of thunder rang out.
“Gale, can I come along? I want to see the Meowth Hammer too.” Jane’s voice came from behind.
Daisy and Dr. Eric also looked at Gel with anticipation.
