Chapter 131 Thanos's Hired Fleet

Quill grew increasingly anxious as he looked at the screen, his mind racing with thoughts.

"What an unlucky day," Rocket Raccoon muttered in dissatisfaction. He, a spaceship pilot who commanded the universe, didn't even have a spaceship to fly.

If this gets out, it will be a huge joke.

The next moment, Quill and Yondu both glanced at the sky, and their eyes turned cold at the same time—a large spaceship was flying towards their current location, completely disregarding the warning distance, and closing in on the fleet.

"Warning! Do not approach too closely! Do not approach too closely!" The large spaceship rapidly broadcast the warning to the other side, while its weapons were already erected, ready to launch an attack at any moment.

"It's us."

The next moment, the voice emanating from the "silver egg" made Quill and Rocket freeze in place. After a moment, they both exclaimed in surprise, "Gamora?"

The "silver egg" landed quickly on the ground, and then Gamora and Gale came out.

"It really is you two." Rocket Raccoon immediately ran to the bottom of the "Silver Egg" and touched its steel outer wall. "How did you two get your hands on this spaceship?"

Drax looked carefully at the "silver egg," then at the spaceships flying overhead: "Comparatively speaking, those spaceships flying in the sky look like junk."

Although Quill didn't want to admit it, he was truly overwhelmed with mixed feelings at that moment—he had worked so hard, but hadn't managed to get a single spaceship. Yondu, on the other hand, had traded most of his ultra-high-energy batteries for those spaceships.

But at this moment, everything paled in comparison to this spaceship. In fact, if he remembered correctly, Gamora left empty-handed!

Yondu looked at Gamora with surprise and suspicion, then glared fiercely at Drax, and said angrily, "Let's go!"

The next moment, Yondu climbed onto his spaceship, while Quill, Drax, and the others boarded the "Silver Egg." Moments later, the fleet quickly set sail, heading towards the target star system.

Sitting in the pilot's seat of the "Silver Egg," looking at the multi-functional control panel around him, Quill couldn't help but ask, "Gamora, where did you get the money to get such a good spaceship?"

Before Gamora could answer, the raccoon chimed in with a sly remark: "Some people have so much money, yet they still haven't bought a spaceship."

Quill glared at the raccoon, then turned his gaze to Gamora.

Gamora didn't even glance at the two clowns. She simply sat in her chair, gazing at the starlight outside, her voice chillingly cold, almost as cold as the void itself: "What, do I have to report to you how I got this spaceship?"

Quill stared at Gamora with an infatuated look, an expression that made the raccoon next to him rub his skin in goosebumps.

A moment later, Gamora glanced at Gale and sighed softly—no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't understand why Gale was following Yondu, or rather Quill and the others.

But Ger had already given her a clear order not to reveal his identity, so Gamora had no choice but to take everything upon herself.

The three-plus hours passed quickly amidst the five's banter and jokes. As they approached their destination, their expressions gradually turned serious, and even Ger looked outside, letting out a silent sigh.

In the distance, one could see numerous shipwrecks floating in the endless void, along with many corpses already turned to frost. Through the thick frost, the style of their clothing was discernible, similar to that of Yondu and his group, suggesting they were from the Raider fleet. Similarly, there were also many exquisitely dressed aliens, likely belonging to Ronan's fleet.

The closer they flew, the more numerous the floating debris of the spaceship became.

"Quail, turn on the search equipment immediately and look for any survivors." Yondu's hoarse voice came from the speakers. Quill immediately replied and turned on the search equipment.

After searching for ten minutes, the fleet had searched most of the area, but had not found a single survivor. Yondu and Quill knew that they had arrived too late. Even if there were survivors, they would probably have died long ago after so much time had passed.

"Beep beep".

Just as Quill was losing hope, the search equipment immediately detected a survivor. Quill was jolted and immediately activated the ship's extradition system, bringing the person aboard.

Upon seeing the man's face, Quill immediately exclaimed in surprise, "Stakar?"

Quill's voice came through the ship's communication device to the other side, and a moment later, Yondu's excited voice came through the device: "Is that Starka? How is he?"

Quill replied hesitantly, "The situation isn't good. You can come and take a look."

“Export me there,” Yondu immediately told Quill. Quill was checking on Staka’s condition, so he turned his gaze to Gamora.

Gamora immediately understood and nodded: "I'll go and extradite him."

A moment later, when Yondu reached the "Silver Egg" and saw Staka's condition, his expression changed drastically—Staka was lying on the ground, half covered in frost and half in blood, and the space survival device he relied on for survival had run out of energy.

Only after Quill's intervention did Starka slowly open his eyes. His once bright eyes had dimmed considerably. He looked ahead and slowly said, "Yondu?"

“Stakka.” Yondu slowly squatted down, placed his right hand on his chest, and saluted as before, before asking in confusion, “I received the news and rushed over immediately. Why would the Raiders Fleet cause trouble for Ronan’s Fleet? You know perfectly well that Ronan’s Fleet is not to be trifled with.”
