"Don't worry, I'm confident of victory. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone," Gel said with a smile. With five Infinity Stones at his disposal, if he couldn't easily control Ego, then the Infinity Stones wouldn't deserve the name.
After a brief conversation with Yondu, Gale finally persuaded him. Quill then learned from Yondu about the fate of Ego's other children and immediately became despondent. After all, Quill harbored a deep longing for family.
After Quill regained his composure, Gail took him back to Earth. They selected a seemingly impressive spaceship from the captured fleet, and the majority of the Avengers boarded it and headed towards Ego's planet.
Of course, to save time, Ger opened a portal to the vicinity of Igor's Star and then let the spaceship slowly fly towards Igor's Star.
When they saw the Star of Igor in the distance, the group was already amazed by its beauty.
From afar, it looks like a colored glass ball shrouded in a watery red mist, surrounded by a pale green band of light, appearing exquisite and colorful.
As the spaceship landed on the planet Ego, a person with gray hair and wearing armor flew towards the location in a small airship.
The small airship was entirely ivory white, with a crystal-clear beauty. As it approached the spaceship, Ego, with a warm smile on his face, said to the group, "Welcome to Ego's Star. May I ask who you are?"
“Father.” Quill stood in front of the spaceship’s exit, looked at Ego, and called out with a complicated expression.
Igor's body stiffened, a hint of barely suppressed surprise appearing on his face: "Who are you?"
“My name is Quill, and I come from Earth. I was taken in by Yondu when I was young, and he beat and scolded me. Recently, I accidentally found a page of Yondu’s diary, which said that I am your son, and that the location of this planet is on it. So I brought my fleet here to see you.” Quill said to Ego according to the story he had prepared beforehand.
Behind Quill, Gel slowly opened his eyes, turned his head and nodded to Wanda. Wanda seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, with a relaxed smile on her face.
Ego looked at the group of people behind Quill without paying any attention—to his millions of years of life, everyone else was an ant-like life, completely insignificant.
However, another son came along.
Years ago, Yondu sent him countless children, but none of them inherited his Celestial bloodline, and they all turned to dust. After so many experiments, he had become disheartened and had given up on the idea of verifying his bloodline with his children in recent years.
But since Quill came to him himself, he naturally wouldn't let this opportunity pass him by.
“Come on over,” Igor said to Quill and the group behind him, while moving aside to make room for them.
A group of people emerged from the spaceship one after another. When their vision opened up and they truly saw the scene of the Star of Ego, they couldn't help but stand there in a daze. Even Ger held his breath for a moment, overwhelmed by the beauty of this world.
Some sights are so beautiful that you would never believe they exist until you see them, and the scenery of Igor Star is one of them.
As far as the eye can see, the ground is filled with plants of all colors. Some are tall, some are short, some are lush and green, and some are so clear and translucent that they look like crystal. Despite the many colors mixed together, it does not look chaotic at all, but rather has a strange harmony.
Even more beautiful was the sky above Star Ego. Golden sunlight streamed down, filtering through distant mountains and towering trees, painting the horizon with a breathtaking golden hue. In the sky, clusters of white, dandelion-like flowers seemed to float, almost alive, while nearby, swarms of tiny, shimmering water droplets drifted towards them.
As the small water sphere drew closer, its iridescent colors became increasingly visible. Peter couldn't resist poking it, and the sphere burst open like a bubble, splitting into several smaller bubbles that drifted in the sky. Moments later, these smaller bubbles met a larger bubble and merged back together, forming an even larger water sphere that floated away into the distance.
"How beautiful!" Peter stared blankly at the receding water sphere and couldn't help but exclaim.
“Yes, it’s really beautiful.” Wanda responded, her expression also blank, clearly she had never seen such a beautiful sight before.
After a moment, Gel came to his senses, glanced at Igor, and a thought suddenly occurred to him—he had to find a way to separate Igor's soul from this planet, even if it was detrimental to Igor, he couldn't harm such a beautiful planet.
A moment later, Ger suddenly laughed; he was just like a space pirate after all. However, for someone as insane as Ego, Ger had no qualms about plotting against him.
Igor listened to Peter and the others' praise with a satisfied smile. Although he had heard this kind of praise countless times, he still felt very proud every time he heard it.
This planet is his true form, which he has gradually transformed over millions of years, resulting in so many wonders.
Standing on the airship, the group of people flew along, taking in the surrounding scenery. The scenery of Igor Star was truly magnificent, with each place having a different layout and landscape, so the group was overwhelmed by the sights and no one dared to speak.
