On a long-distance bus traveling across the river bridge, a group of students are excitedly chatting.
"We must show those universities our strength in this academic competition!"
“With Ger and Peter around, those people are no match for us.”
Question: What is the most amazing metal in the world?
"..."
In the seat next to him, Harry was helping Peter with his final review.
Geer simply looked at the scenery outside, admiring the river shimmering with golden light beneath the bridge.
Ten months have passed since Peter became Spider-Man. In these ten months, the three of them have gone from being twelfth-grade students to freshmen at Imperial University.
Ten months ago, he had been honest with Peter about everything, including the fact that his younger siblings also had superpowers. Even at Gel's urging, Peter also told Harry everything.
These things will come to light eventually. Rather than letting Harry find out elsewhere and jeopardizing their friendship, it's better to be upfront about it from the beginning. After all, suspicion is the worst thing that can happen in friendship or any other relationship.
Fortunately, although Harry was envious, he still congratulated the two brothers on their superpowers.
During those ten months, he, Peter, Wanda, and Pietro often "sparred" together, and all four of them improved their abilities.
Natasha and Sharon, who are neighbors, have become good friends with Ger and his two companions, though Natasha has yet to reveal her true identity to Ger. But Ger has a feeling that day is fast approaching.
"Damn it, another traffic jam?" The driver slammed on the brakes and cursed as he looked at the long line of cars ahead.
At first, Ger didn't pay attention, but after keenly hearing a faint scream in the distance, he suddenly looked up at Peter.
At this moment, Peter also looked up at him, presumably having noticed that something was wrong.
"What's that?" a student watching from the car window suddenly screamed.
Everyone looked over and gasped: in the distance, a monster that resembled both a lizard and a human was frantically attacking everything around it. The lizard-like monster was three or four meters tall, its body green, and its hands were covered in long, sharp fingernails. With a single thrust, its fingertips could pierce the roof of a car and tear the entire vehicle to shreds!
More and more people abandoned their cars, weaved through the congested traffic, and screamed as they ran toward the direction away from the bridge.
Among the fleeing crowd were several people carrying expensive television equipment.
"Damn it! We finally got the chance to interview Hammer, and this monster ruined it all. Good heavens, are we going to die here?" Flora was a struggling, third-rate presenter at a New York television station. She had finally managed to get the opportunity to interview arms dealer Justin Hammer through connections, but who knew this would happen? "This monster might be my chance! I absolutely can't get fired!"
"The white-robed wizard, Spider-Man!"
Suddenly, someone shouted, and Flora saw in the sky her familiar "neighbors," Spider-Man and the white-robed wizard, one using webs and the other flying directly, rapidly approaching the monster!
Flora was trembling with excitement. Feeling that she had almost escaped, she quickly stopped and grabbed her colleague: "Our chance has come! This news story will definitely fetch a high price!"
Those are the white-robed wizard and Spider-Man!
Although they were popular for a few months, they were rarely photographed because they appeared and disappeared so elusively.
Several colleagues, also working at a New York television station, exchanged glances and decided not to run away. They set up their live broadcast equipment on the spot. At the same time, one of them requested exclusive live broadcast rights from the television station.
Flora straightened her appearance: "Hello everyone, this is New York Television, I'm your host Flora. As you can see, a lizard-like monster has appeared on this side of the bridge, and our good neighbors, the white-robed wizard and Spider-Man, have already approached this monster..."
The lizardmen, having undergone their first mutation, had completely lost their minds and only knew how to kill madly.
Sharp claws were tearing open a car, preparing to grab the person hiding inside, when a sharp piece of metal, whistling through the air, came crashing down on his head!
The lizardman sensed the danger, roared, and grabbed the car next to him to block it.
"Clang!"
A piercing sound rang out, forcing the lizardman to retreat several steps. He then watched helplessly as the people in the car were lifted into the air and gently landed on the bridge in the distance.
The lizardman wasn't about to let his prize slip away, so he immediately took off after it.
"Run!" Ger suddenly dropped from the air, landing in front of the lizardman and blocking his path, then shouted at the driver who was so frightened that his legs went weak.
Ger clasped his hands together and cast a spell, attempting to restrain the lizardman. However, in an instant, the lizardman broke free and continued chasing after the fleeing driver.
"Back off! Back off!" Just then, Peter arrived. He swung around and, using the momentum, kicked the lizardman away.
Seemingly sensing danger, the lizardman turned and ran.
"Trying to run? Dream on." Peter leaped and quickly closed in on the lizardman.
Peter spun in the air and delivered a flying kick to the lizardman. The lizardman staggered back a few steps, seemingly enraged by the blow. He charged forward and sent Peter flying as he delivered another flying kick. At the same time, the iron skin controlled by Gel nearly severed Peter's entire arm!
