"My lord, something's not right." Proxima Centauri looked at the scene on the big screen and said to Thanos with a serious expression.
Thanos merely frowned slightly, without saying a word.
Gel took a deep look at the two sides engaged in fierce combat, resolutely modified the data in the spaceship database again, then opened a spatial portal and stepped inside—if the behavior of these spaceships was later defined as defection by the database, then these spaceships would immediately self-destruct.
Presumably, after a few clear examples, that group will abandon their wishful thinking and focus solely on intercepting Thanos's spaceship.
His original goal was to use Ronan's fleet to lure Thanos. To avoid alerting Thanos and actually getting him there, he refrained from seizing the Power Stone from Ronan. Now that Thanos has arrived, he's going to Xandar to take the Power Stone from Ronan!
Just as the portal swallowed Gale's body, Thanos on the mothership suddenly turned his head and glanced in that direction.
In the void, only a few stars twinkle, but such light is too insignificant to be compared to the vast universe. Yet, within these tiny planets, a continuous struggle unfolds.
On Xandar, Ronan slowly rose from his seat, weapon in hand, and walked forward. The soldiers rushing around him paid him no attention whatsoever.
He simply walked slowly forward until he reached a large hole that had been blasted out, where he stood and looked down at the scene before him.
There, the Xandar fleet could be seen forming a golden blockade, halting the advance of the mothership. No matter how much power the spaceships increased, they couldn't break through the golden blockade.
"You've still come to this point, but things are different now." Ronan slowly raised the weapon in his hand, and his voice gradually resounded throughout the space. In that instant, even the roar of the surrounding weapons was suppressed. "Endless power will bring endless destruction."
Ronan's energy surged rapidly along the weapon to the Power Gem. Instantly, the Power Gem flashed with a dazzling purple light, which then shot forward through the large hole in the spaceship mothership!
"boom!"
The terrifying purple energy instantly obliterated all the ships in its path upon contact with the blockade formed by the Monarch Star's spaceships. The horrifying energy surge, accompanied by a deafening roar of fire in the sky, plunged the area into a thick cloud of smoke.
This terrifying energy caused the Xandar commander below to cover his mouth, his eyes filled with pain and horror—so this was the kind of terrifying energy attack. No wonder the fleet she had sent to blockade them had never returned; the power of the Infinity Stones was far more terrifying than they had imagined.
This energy fluctuation caused everyone who sensed it to freeze in place, even Quill, Gamora, and the raccoon, who were still trying to destroy the spaceship mothership, to pause.
"Gamora, where is he?" came an urgent question from Gamora's communication device.
"Who was she asking about?" Quill asked Gamora with a hint of doubt as he dealt with the approaching soldiers. He recognized the voice; it was the Xandar commander's voice.
Gamora did not respond to Quill's words, but said into the communication device, "He's doing something more important and will be back soon. He will definitely keep his promise!"
After saying this, Gamora immediately shut down communication with the Xandar commander—she knew what Geer was doing, because she knew all of Geer's plans, and had even added some details. Therefore, she knew that Geer was currently preparing for final victory, and thus she believed that Geer would return immediately after resolving matters there.
After all, Thanos's fleet was too powerful. They had painstakingly "walked around" the Monarch Star Fleet and the Freedom Fleet for over twenty days, hoping that the Monarch Star Fleet and the Freedom Fleet would weaken Thanos's fleet.
The weaker Thanos is, the greater their chances of winning!
"Drax!" Gamora roared, her voice filled with all her frustration and pain as she gazed at the mothership's engine room now looming in the distance.
Drax was holding a strange device, the front of which looked like a cannon barrel, seemingly an extremely advanced weapon.
Upon hearing Gamora's call, Drax immediately carried the device to the front. Then, a huge roar rang out, and a missile flew towards the power room.
In the huge room, the missile looked inconspicuous, but when the missile touched the power room, the entire power room exploded instantly!
"boom!"
In that instant, the entire mothership began to tremble violently. Then, it lost its balance and, amidst a deafening roar of flames, plummeted towards the planet Xandar.
The spaceship blockade that had already been breached was now completely crushed, turning into streaks of fire that clung to the surface of the spaceship mothership.
The falling mothership, with terrifying force, slid towards the ground, a scene resembling the end of the world.
"ah!"
The people who were already screaming on the ground scrambled and crawled away into the distance, while many others stared blankly at the sky, having given up all hope of escaping.
