Gel keenly heard a word: Arctic.
The place where he often fought with the Hulk and She-Hulk was the Arctic.
Could this be a chain reaction caused by myself, just like tonight's events?
The room fell silent as the four of them frantically racked their brains, trying to find a way to break through the situation.
Finally, Nick took a deep breath, opened a drawer on his desk, took out a file, and tossed it to Gel, saying seriously, "Gel, I suspect Hydra hasn't disappeared. Tonight's events were very likely orchestrated by Hydra."
"How do you know it's Hydra?" Gel looked at Nick, his eyes revealing an unspoken meaning.
When Pierce's villa exploded, Gail, for various reasons, didn't tell Nick about the possible existence of Hydra. Now, with this incident, Gail still intends to bring up Hydra with Nick, hoping to make Nick suspect that Hydra was behind today's events.
But little did he know, Nick already had his suspicions.
Nick didn't grasp the deeper meaning in Gel's words, assuming Gel was simply asking a question that had been on his mind, so he answered seriously: "A few months ago, Pierce mysteriously disappeared, along with several agents. And do you remember those ten missiles that exploded at Pierce's house? Afterwards, the operators checked all the missile launch procedures and discovered that someone had tampered with them. This was too unusual, so I had Hill secretly investigate it."
To conceal his inner turmoil, Gel opened the file and began to read it while listening to Nick speak.
Then Hill began to explain: "In the end, all the evidence pointed to the missing Pierce, and we also found some traces of Hydra. Unfortunately, Pierce disappeared without a trace."
“If what happened tonight was really done by Hydra, then their goal is definitely not just to kidnap or murder Tony and the others.” Hawkeye, who had been standing silently to the side, finally spoke up.
Gel put down the documents in his hand and nodded: "The hotel where Pietro and Peter were staying has been completely burned down. If it were a simple murder or kidnapping, there would be no need to go to such lengths. Following this logic, they may be trying to cover up some traces or conceal some of their purposes."
“It seems we have someone who was attacked but managed to escape.” Nick raised his eyes slightly and looked at Gel.
