Chapter Sixty-Eight: The Hunt for Hydra

Chapter 69 The Hunt for Hydra

Seeing the Hellfire Dove flying behind Gale, Potts' pupils contracted slightly. Then, he reluctantly opened his Iron Man suit, raised his hands, and walked to Gale's side.

In a short time, the small steel suit that was used to protect her was completely destroyed. The sight of the melted and then re-solidified steel made her shiver.

Dark red flames spilled around Ger, who quickly formed a series of hand seals with his hands, and then a yellow light flashed in his hands.

"Hidden talent and clumsy body, bound."

Gel touched Potts' forehead with his finger, and the next moment, a beam of yellow light began to ripple from Potts' forehead and quickly spread throughout Potts' body.

Potts felt as if he had suddenly lost all strength in his body, and could no longer control himself, collapsing to the ground.

Then, Gerr slowly took to the air, looked at Rogers, Natasha, Harry, and Tony who were still putting up a stubborn resistance, and said coldly, "Now, are you still going to continue resisting?"

Hundreds of hellfire doves flapped their wings and danced behind Geer. With each flap of their wings, a wisp of fire dissipated into the air, scorching the surrounding air and making it even more illusory.

Various Western myths have featured demons of hell. Some depict these demons as having blue faces and fangs, capable of stopping a child's tears at a glance, while others portray the demons of hell as having human faces but possessing immense power.

Of course, these are all just stories from history; no one has ever seen a real demon god.

Peter looked at Gol flying in the sky and felt that Gol, who was in the middle of hundreds of hellfire doves, was like a demon god from hell.

It possesses a terrifying aura that inspires awe!

Both inside and outside the Desperate Space, a tense atmosphere prevailed.

On the road, the black SUV carrying Nick, Hawkeye, and Bronsky was approaching their destination, and there were even six fighter jets circling around it in the sky.

The closer they got to their destination, the colder Nick's eyes became.

At this time, although they were not in the downtown area, the surrounding area was relatively prosperous, with many small business districts, residential buildings and office buildings.

Looking from a distance along the road, you can see that the destination is a place that resembles a small villa.

“It’s not too far from S.H.I.E.L.D. from here.” Nick looked at the villa that was becoming clearer in front of him, narrowed his eyes slightly, and then said to the driver, “We can stop here.”

The driver nodded and immediately pulled the car over to the side of the road. Many people were still walking and chatting nearby, paying no extra attention to the seemingly ordinary black SUV.

Nick handed Bronsky a pair of glasses with a miniature camera and a pair of headphones: "Bronsky, thank you for your hard work."

The calm tone immediately evoked images of turbulent undercurrents beneath the tranquil surface of the sea.

Bronsky didn't reply, but calmly took the glasses and headphones, put them on, opened the car door, and ran quickly towards his destination.

Unlike Banner, Bronsky had undergone several serum modifications before transforming into Abomination, so even with a normal human appearance, he was extremely fast.

"Who is this person? They're so fast!"

"Is this really a speed that an ordinary person can run at?"

"My God! He even overtook the cars parked on the side of the road."

"I think I see some fighter jets in the distance. Am I seeing things?"

"..."

The helicopters circling in the sky and the Bronsky speeding along the roadside caused panic among passersby, and the discussions grew louder and louder.

Inside the black SUV, Nick gestured to Hawkeye. Hawkeye nodded, opened the car door, drew his longbow from behind his back, and fired an arrow into the sky.

"Bang!"

The arrow exploded suddenly as it rose above the tall building, and the huge flames instantly made all the passersby scream.

"Warning: Unrest is imminent. Get away immediately."

"Warning: Unrest is imminent. Get away immediately."

"..."

After the explosion, a fighter jet flew over quickly, issuing warnings to those around it.

This situation made everyone realize that the sound from the fighter jets wasn't a lie, and they immediately screamed and fled into the distance. Fortunately, there weren't many people around to begin with, and soon the area became deserted.

At this moment, Bronsky had arrived at the door of the small villa, waiting for Nick's further orders.

He stared intently at the door before him, pressing his ear close, but heard no unusual sounds coming from inside.

But the fact that there is nothing unusual at this moment is the biggest anomaly.

"Blonsky, move out." Nick's voice came through the earpiece. Blonsky immediately burst through the door and walked into the villa.

Unlike ordinary villas, this one had a device resembling a radio in the center of the hall. Bronsky quickly recognized it as the switchboard for a multi-line communication system connecting to the outside world.

On top of the switchboard, there was a mobile phone. When Bronsky went over to look, the phone was displaying a call page and even had hands-free enabled.

Bronsky frowned slightly, walked closer to the phone, and looked at it.

“Nick, you guys are faster than I thought…” Pierce’s voice came through the phone.

"Bronsky, retreat immediately." Nick's voice came through the earpiece at the same time. Bronsky's heart sank, and he immediately turned and ran towards the door.

But it was too late.

Amidst a cacophony of beeps, a deafening explosion resounded from multiple locations within the villa, followed by a massive burst of flames that shattered the entire structure.
