This dinner, which was several hours late, was enjoyed by everyone. They ate and chatted for almost an hour before finishing.
It was nearly 10 p.m. by then.
After Gerr sent Natasha, Uncle Ben, and the others back, only Gerr, his siblings, Uncle Norman, and Harry remained in the room.
“Uncle Norman, we know that Harry has been injected with a human enhancement drug, and we also know that Osborn Corporation is in a bad situation recently,” Gel frankly told Uncle Norman.
Norman was completely taken aback by Ger's candor and was momentarily speechless. As a proud elder, Norman was also unaccustomed to revealing his vulnerability in front of Ger and the younger generation.
Gel continued, "But Uncle Norman, that human enhancement drug has extremely strong side effects. It can make people lose their minds after use. You must never use this drug again. I believe you have also felt its side effects during Harry's week at home."
Norman shuddered as he thought about Harry's actions over the past week: Harry had driven away all the psychologists he'd hired, and had he not intervened, those psychologists would likely have been killed on the spot. Norman also realized from Harry's resentful words how utterly unsuccessful his own upbringing of Harry had been. If Harry hadn't spent the past week diligently researching Green Goblin's equipment in the secret factory, he probably would have caused even greater trouble.
After a moment, Uncle Norman sighed, "That human enhancement drug was wrong from the very beginning. I was unwilling to accept it, so I sealed it away. But unfortunately, Harry has already been injected with the drug."
“Uncle Norman, don’t worry, I’ve used magic to suppress the potion’s negative effects on Harry. He just needs long-term magical treatment,” Gel reassured him.
Uncle Norman immediately looked up at Ger with delight: "Harry can really be cured?"
Gel nodded: "Uncle Norman, don't worry. It will definitely work."
During this time, Harry simply looked at his father with a complicated expression, without saying a word. He recalled what he had said to his father over the past week and saw his father's pained expression; he didn't know how to face his father.
Gel didn't intend to leave the two of them in silence any longer, so he smiled and said, "Uncle Norman, Harry, come with me."
The group of five headed towards the basement.
Upon opening the basement door, Norman and his companions were completely stunned to find a combat robot lying down that took up almost half of the basement.
"What is this?" Pietro asked first.
As a boy who was born with a fascination for high technology and steel machines, Pietro had been drooling over Iron Man's Iron Man suit for a long time. Moreover, this Iron Man suit looked taller, bigger, and cooler than Iron Man's, and Pietro couldn't wait to crawl inside and try it on.
Wanda never expected to see a combat robot in her own basement, so she immediately went over to it.
Even Uncle Norman couldn't help himself and ran over to take a look. Only then did he notice that behind the tall combat robot, there were several smaller combat robots.
After observing for a moment, Uncle Norman seemed to realize something and asked, "Did Tony invent this? How did you get your hands on it?"
To protect his Iron Man suit from falling into the wrong hands, Tony publicly criticized government officials several times in front of the media, and privately showed no mercy to those with ulterior motives.
During this period, just to save face for the government, Rhodes was "gifted" a suit of armor.
After observing the product, Gel and the others explained, "This was not invented by Tony, but manufactured by Hammer Industries."
It took Gel a while to explain the entanglement between Hammer, Ivan, and Tony. Then he continued, "These are my spoils for tonight, but their drivers have all been destroyed, so they're useless to me. I'm giving them to my uncle to study. Although they can't compare to Iron Man's Iron Man suit in terms of performance, there should be a lot of technical aspects worth learning. Hammer made a big mistake tonight by trusting Ivan, which will inevitably affect the cooperation between Hammer Industries and the military. I don't understand technology very well, nor do I understand game theory, so this is all I can do to help."
While this Iron Man suit is powerful, it is definitely not as technologically advanced as Tony's Iron Man suit, especially since Tony has just discovered a new element that can be used as a new energy source.
When Uncle Norman heard Gol's explanation, he had already guessed that Gol had brought him here perhaps to give him these Iron Man suits. But after hearing Gol say it himself, he was still deeply moved.
Norman thought about it carefully: "Osborn Corporation does need these Iron Man suits, but I can't just take them for free. I'll have the technical department assess the corresponding price and then transfer the money to you."
When Pietro and Wanda heard that the Iron Man suits were going to be sent away, they were a little disappointed, but then they thought about how the Iron Man suits could help Uncle Norman get through his predicament, and they felt relieved.
Gel noticed Pietro and Wanda's expressions, smiled slightly, and then said to Uncle Norman, "No need for money, I don't need it. However, if Uncle Norman doesn't mind, if you develop any new technology in the future, just give each of us three siblings a set. Also, I would like to add a small request: after the Iron Man suit program is installed, let Pietro and Wanda be test drivers for a few days."
