Chapter 95 The Battle of Asgard!
In front of the palace in Asgard, a large number of soldiers were practicing, both in the central main passage and the various auxiliary passages connected to it.
Thor stood at the very front of the main passage, fighting the Warriors Three of Asgard with his bare hands. Even though the Warriors Three were armed while Thor was unarmed, the Warriors Three still faced constant danger when they joined forces.
At this moment, Thor had absorbed a lot of pure energy in the sacrificial magic circle, and his own abilities had been better developed. Therefore, the Warriors Three of Asgard were no match for Thor as before.
Odin and Frigga stood atop the steps, looking down at Thor and the numerous soldiers. Their eyes held a mixture of relief and a touch of regret that was hard to understand.
"Odin, will you fall into slumber again soon?" Frigga didn't turn her head; she just looked ahead and asked slowly.
Odin nodded, his deep voice revealing an undeniable weariness: "Yes, I have sensed my own end. Perhaps in a few years, I will embark on another path and enter the tomb of the Asgardian gods."
Frigga looked ahead, her eyes filled with a faint sadness and endless worry: "Their sister Hela was imprisoned by your divine power. When you pass away, Hela will inevitably break free of the seal and return to Asgard."
Odin's gaze fell on the laughing Thor, his aged face full of helplessness: "Thor is still growing too slowly."
After a moment, Odin turned his gaze to Frigga: "Frigga, over the years, I have felt your divine power gradually fading away."
Frigga smiled calmly: "Yes, my divine power has diminished to the point that I can't even defeat the two generals of Jotunheim. If Hela is born, I'm afraid I won't be able to stop her at all. Moreover, my precognitive abilities tell me that there is a shadow looming over me, and I don't even know if I can break through it."
Odin suddenly grabbed Frigga's hand: "Why have you never told me about the Shadows?"
Frigga gently patted Odin's hand, smiled slightly, and fixed her clear, glass-like eyes on Odin, soothing his mind: "The gods will eventually fall, and you and I will be no exception. The only one we can't let go of is Thor. But Loki, I don't know if I'll ever see him again."
Frigga's eyes became somewhat unfocused. She thought of Loki, and of Loki who had been by her side all these years.
That was the son she had raised herself, but...
Odin held Frigga's hand tightly: "Gale and Wanda both possess chaotic energy, and their growth rate is faster than we imagined."
“Perhaps one day, they will be able to help Thor,” Frigga said with a smile, comforting Odin as she had done countless times before.
"What did you see?" Odin asked, slightly taken aback by Frigga's words.
Frigga smiled and shook her head: "My divine power has declined to the point that I can't see the way forward anymore. But my inner consciousness and my feelings tell me that they are good children and we should help them as much as possible."
Odin nodded slightly: "When that day comes, you can give them the treasures they need from my treasury. There are many things there that they have been longing for."
Frigga looked at the soldiers not far away and patted Odin's hand again: "The soldiers below may need your treasure even more."
Odin's gaze sharpened slightly as he stared intently at the soldiers below, saying, "I must also intensify their training. When Hela is born, they may be able to carry a portion of Asgard's hopes."
The two continued to look ahead, and the scenery of Asgard gradually unfolded before their eyes, but they both knew that they wouldn't be able to enjoy this view for long.
A moment later, a smile suddenly appeared on Frigga's face as she looked in a certain direction.
There, Gel and Wanda were walking out of the portal.
"Wanda, Gel, are you done with your work?" Frigga asked with a smile when Gel and Wanda approached.
At the same time, Frigga opened her arms to Wanda. Wanda carefully embraced Frigga and leaned against her.
Gel watched this scene with a smile and nodded: "Yes, I've mostly finished dealing with things on Earth, so I want to return to Asgard and learn magic from you."
Frigga took Wanda's hand and slowly walked down the steps: "Okay, I've been waiting for you for a long time."
The Asgardian sun seemed as bright as ever; during his ten days in Asgard, he didn't experience a single rain shower. However, compared to New York and other industrial cities, the Asgardian sky was exceptionally blue, and the number of clouds was astounding.
Gel and Wanda followed Frigga toward Saul.
"Oh, Gol, Wanda, you're here." Thor saw Gol, immediately stopped his competition with a big laugh, and walked towards Gol. Then he gave Gol a bear hug and patted Gol's back hard, making Gol cough a few times.
"Thor." Frigga called out to Thor helplessly. Thor then realized that Gel was a magician, so he let go of her hand embarrassedly.
“Thor, come with us. You need to have a friendly spar with Gol and Wanda later so I can understand their strengths and weaknesses. That way, I can teach them magic properly.” Frigga looked at Thor, then at Gol, and smiled.
