Chapter 103 Anti-Mage Armor and Anti-Hulk Armor
"This is bad."
Tony looked at the dense array of icicles in the sky and couldn't help but sigh silently. After a moment, Tony slightly raised his eyes and looked elsewhere.
Ebony Maw slightly bent his right finger, and a moment later, a massive array of ice pillars, carrying a chilling aura, surged toward Tony's location.
"Activate the Death Ray!"
Tony quickly issued commands to Jarvis, and at the same time, Tony allocated more fuel and energy to the thrusters. The anti-magic armor moved quickly through the icicles like a fish.
A crimson ray shot out from the shoulder of the Iron Man suit, tracing a dazzling fiery arc through the air. To Ebony Maw's astonishment, all the ice pillars that came into contact with the ray were instantly cleaved in two without any resistance.
"Sizzle!"
In a panic, Ebony Maw concentrated all his energy in front of him. As the piercing sound surrounded him, Ebony Maw felt a burning pain in his chest. Looking closer, he could vaguely see his ribs!
If it goes any deeper, it might hurt his vital organs!
If the first injury was unexpected, this one truly enraged Ebony Maw. The lingering fear hidden within that anger only fueled its fury even more fiercely!
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Ice pillars slammed into the anti-magic armor, sending Tony flying as he gradually lost control of the Iron Man suit.
"Energy is being gradually absorbed."
"Warning, anti-magic armor integrity 89%, 88%..."
Tony listened to Jarvis's voice in his ear, gritted his teeth, and felt his body becoming increasingly out of control. He slightly raised his head, looked up at the sky, and roared, "It's about time!"
Ebony Maw had now distanced himself from Tony, looking down at Tony from high above, a terrifying smile spreading across his face.
“Look over there.”
"Is Iron Man about to give up?"
"How come that withered tree mage is so powerful?"
"Where are the Scarlet Witch and the White Wizard? Why haven't we seen them?"
"I saw Spider-Man and... Spider-Woman?"
"..."
The television screen was now divided into several parts, projecting the battle scenes of the three spaceships, Tony and Ebony Maw, Hulk and Black Dwarf, She-Hulk and Corvus Glaive, and several other battle scenes on the ground. Some scenes were even shown using camera lenses from mobile phones!
"Tony, do you need any help?" Peter's voice echoed in Tony's ears.
Tony responded quickly, yelling, "No need, just stick to the original plan."
"Whoosh!"
Just then, two unidentified objects flew through the endless smoke and gunfire, heading towards Ebony Maw. Using the momentum of their descent from the sky, these two unidentified objects moved at a speed almost imperceptible to the naked eye.
Just as Ebony Maw was reacting, the two unidentified objects slammed heavily onto him, dragging him down to the ground!
"Annoying flies."
Ebony Maw felt a powerful force coming from him, and his body involuntarily fell downwards. No matter how he tried to control his body with magic, he could not counteract the force.
In his panic, Ebony Maw looked at the two unidentified objects pressing down on his head and discovered that they were two steel robots, each over five meters tall, with intense flames shooting from their feet.
"Bang!"
The rapidly falling Ebony Maw crashed heavily onto the ground, instantly scattering bricks and stones everywhere, and filling the air with smoke. Through the smoke, towering flames and violent explosions could be vaguely seen.
"Snap! Snap! Snap!"
After a flash of astonishing light, Ebony Maw's figure slowly floated out, while two Hulkbuster armors were being controlled by him to fly up, one on the left and one on the right. The steel on the Hulkbuster armors was also constantly collapsing, as if it was being held by a great force.
"Congratulations on getting out, but unfortunately, it's not a good thing." Tony's voice rang out from above Ebony Maw's head. Ebony Maw completely ignored it, only looking at him coldly, because in his perception, the anti-magic armor did not give him any sense of danger.
"What are you looking at me for? I'm not the one who's going to do it." Tony's slightly playful words sounded extremely grating to Ebony Maw. But before he could even process what Tony meant, he suddenly sensed danger, and this sense of danger indeed came from one of the Iron Man suits he was controlling!
"boom!"
Before Ebony Maw could react, one of the Hulkbuster armors self-destructed, instantly detonating all the large-scale weapons it carried. The raging flames engulfed the surrounding area in an instant, and the violent shockwave knocked down many nearby buildings!
Tony propelled himself upwards by the shockwave, along with another Hulkbuster armor. This Hulkbuster was riddled with damage; its right arm was almost entirely severed. Only its pair of yellow wings remained intact.
However, the Hulkbuster armor remained suspended in mid-air, not taking off further, its gaze piercing through the flames.
"Activate the automated hexagonal prison." Tony's command was instantly transmitted to the Hulkbuster armor. Moments later, the pair of yellow steel wings swiftly detached from its back, splitting into several metal plates that surrounded a certain area from all directions.
