Peter and Harry could hear the voice on the pager as well, but neither of them responded to the message, not even Pietro sitting next to her.
Natasha knew these people weren't going to leave, so she returned to the ground with Pietro. She then took out her phone and dialed Gol's number. Looking at the shattered screen, Natasha gave a wry smile; thankfully, it didn't affect the phone's functionality, and Gol answered quickly.
A kilometer away in the sky, Banner, Betty, and General Ross stared silently at the screen that had regained its display.
Even though the soldier providing the footage was some distance away from Abomination, making his figure somewhat unclear in the picture, everyone present could still tell that he was still alive.
After a moment, Banner looked at General Ross helplessly: "Come closer, let me down."
General Ross took a deep breath and turned to the pilot beside him, saying, "Land near the monster."
Banner shook his head: "Just stay high in the air and open the rear hatch."
General Ross gestured to the soldiers, and the rear hatch was immediately opened.
Banner walked toward the rear hatch without looking back, and Betty immediately caught up, grabbing him with panic in her light blue eyes: "Banner, you can't take such a risk. Have you forgotten that the Hulk is being suppressed? If he really disappears completely, you'll die if you jump down like this."
Her eyes were fixed on Banner, as if she feared he might disappear at any moment.
Banner couldn't help but touch her face: "The Hulk won't disappear so easily. Betty, for the sake of this city, I have to try."
Unbeknownst to them, at the edge of the abyss, Abomination was looking up at the approaching helicopter. As if sensing something, a terrifying smile crept across his rugged face.
"roar!"
With a single leap, he jumped onto the collapsing high-rise building, and then from the highest point, he hopped towards the oncoming helicopter!
Wanda, flying in the sky, watched this scene in horror and immediately shouted towards the helicopter, "Get out of here!"
But her voice was completely drowned out by the roar of the helicopter and did not reach the pilot's ears at all.
General Ross, somewhat distracted by Banner, happened to turn around and saw the following scene on the screen: under a crescent moon, a long-armed and long-legged monster was rapidly approaching a helicopter flying in the sky.
When General Ross realized that the image of Abomination approaching his helicopter, he felt a chill run down his spine and shouted at the pilot with wide eyes, "Take off!"
Wanda, in the distance, quickly cast chaos magic on the helicopter, helping it fly upwards.
But it was too late. Abomination had already grabbed the metal frame under the helicopter, then ripped off the rotor blades and hurled the helicopter hard towards the ground.
The sudden turbulence caused Banner and Betty, who were standing at the rear cabin door, to fall into the cabin and crash into the metal sheet next to them. After a muffled groan, the two injured and bleeding passengers passed out.
Wanda flew quickly towards the crashing helicopter, trying to stop its descent, but its inertia was too great to control. Wanda had no choice but to resort to magic, pulling General Ross and the others out of the windows.
The helicopter was spinning rapidly in the air, making it difficult for Wanda to maintain its direction. It took Wanda a great deal of effort to pull the pilot and General Ross out of the window.
At that moment, the helicopter was about to crash!
Wanda waved her hands, enveloping Banner, Betty, and the remaining two soldiers in chaos magic.
"Bang!"
The helicopter crashed into the ground, tumbling several times before finally coming to a stop under the control of Peter and his team.
Seeing the oil leaking from the helicopter's fuel tank and the occasional bursts of flame, Wanda quickly pulled Banner, Betty, and two soldiers out of the helicopter.
"boom!"
After the group had moved away, the helicopter exploded.
"Are they alright?" Peter asked with concern, looking at Banner and Betty, whose heads were covered in blood.
Natasha arrived at this time and briefly explained the situation to Gel on the other end of the phone.
“Yes, if you can get back, please do so as soon as possible. I just observed that the Abomination landed very close to here, and out of revenge, it should be heading in our direction very soon. We can't hold out for long. Do you have any good ideas?” Natasha said, squatting down to look at Banner and Betty in her hands, then asked Wanda, “How are they?”
Wanda extended her right hand, and two streams of gray, chaotic energy extended from her fingertips toward Banner and Betty. The moment they touched, Wanda's expression changed drastically: the energy emanating from Banner and Betty grew stronger and stronger, terrifyingly so! There was only one explanation: they were about to transform!
"Run!"
Wanda quickly enveloped Peter, Harry, and Natasha with magical energy, then led the three of them backward!
At the same time, Banner and Betty opened their eyes simultaneously, and after a startling green light flashed in their eyes, their bodies began to grow larger!
Soon, their clothes were torn apart, leaving them only in their more elastic undergarments. They quickly turned around, bracing themselves on the ground, seemingly enduring the pain of the transformation.
"roar!"
"roar!"
Two angry roars echoed across the sky one after the other, and then two enormous figures slowly rose to their feet and appeared in everyone's sight.
Peter couldn't help but take a few steps back, muttering, "Why does Betty also turn into the Hulk?"
No one could answer him.
Before them appeared two Hulks: one muscular and distinctly male, the same Hulk they had seen before; the other, also green-skinned, possessed distinctly female characteristics. From the few remaining traces on her face, it was clear this female Hulk was Betty.
General Ross, who was running over from a distance to check on his daughter, witnessed Betty's transformation. He stared at the Hulk, frozen in place, his mind blank.
"roar!"
At that moment, a hideous monster with a ferocious face roared and charged towards them from afar.
Natasha glanced at the two Hulks not far away, then at the rapidly approaching Abomination, and couldn't even answer Gale's urgent question on her phone; her eyes were filled with despair.
Oh my god, how am I supposed to fight this?
