In his mind, Ger automatically translated this profound statement: Mordo is not quite normal either.
Under the boundless blue sky, bright sunlight poured down, and on the ground where light and shadow intertwined, two mages led a slightly haggard-looking Kaecilius over.
Gel looked up at Casillas, finding it somewhat amusing. Perhaps because he had been in the punishment room for over ten days, even with the same arrogant expression as before, Casillas couldn't hide the weariness on his face.
Upon seeing Gel, Casillas froze for a moment, then immediately narrowed his eyes and made a fierce expression: "The energy bursts of the past ten days, is it because of you?"
The group, who were training in defensive magic, stopped what they were doing and looked at Casillas as he approached.
The Ancient One also gestured, signaling everyone to stop training and listen attentively to what Ger was saying.
Gel walked up the steps and stood opposite Casillas: "So what if it's because of me? You're like a dog... what are you barking about?"
Kaecilius glared at the Ancient One with resentment: "The Ancient One possesses immense power, yet she has refused to teach us powerful magic. She must be borrowing dark energy to sustain her life and strength. We came here with the intention of healing, devoutly seeking to learn. But apart from her, no one else can attain eternal life."
Gale was speechless after hearing his rambling remarks. During the two days he spent learning mirror magic from Daniel, Gale learned that all the sorcerers in Kamar-Taj were there because they were severely injured and seeking a last glimmer of hope. In a sense, it was the Ancient One who gave Kaecilius a new life.
Before Ger could retort, Mordo stepped forward first, looking at Casillas with righteous indignation, and said, "How can you slander the reputation of the Sorcerer Supreme? The Sorcerer Supreme has always led us in resisting the invasion of the Dark Dimension. It was he who gave me power, allowing me to overcome my inner demons and understand the need to follow my own laws, the laws of nature. He could never have absorbed the power of the Dark Dimension..."
Looking at these two oddballs, Ger became increasingly speechless.
When I heard Mordo speak last time, I already felt that something was off about him, and now that I'm listening to him again, it's definitely not right.
Gel interrupted Mordo, looking at Kaecilius and saying, "So you were originally someone severely injured and with nowhere to turn in the outside world? When you arrived at Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One didn't charge you countless fees like hospitals outside, but instead taught you magic and healed your injuries. Nor did she charge exorbitant tuition fees like countless schools and martial arts schools outside, yet still allowed you to learn invaluable magical knowledge. Instead, after being kindly healed, you opened your mouth wide and wanted to learn the most advanced spells, and when you couldn't, you complained about everything?"
Geer truly understood what it meant to feel as if a great favor had been repaid with a great enmity.
Casillas instinctively wanted to retort, but after opening his mouth, he didn't know what to say for a moment.
After saying that, Gel turned to Mordo: "So what if the Ancient One absorbed the power of the Dark Dimension? He was leading you to resist the Dark Dimension's invasion of Earth. He was the Sorcerer Supreme. As long as his soul doesn't get close to the Dark, then there's nothing to say. You're not children, and the world isn't just black and white. Don't say such ridiculous things."
For Geer, as long as one can control power, there is no distinction between good and bad power.
Moreover, being able to absorb energy from enemies and use it for your own benefit only proves that you are really powerful!
At this point, Ger also understood Mordo's problem: compared to Casillas's "excessive demands," Mordo was "overcorrecting," intolerant of even the slightest imperfection, and might even go to extremes over the slightest displeasure.
Gel remembered Daniel telling him that among the many mages of Kamar-Taj, Kaecilius and Mordo were the two most talented. But neither of them were assigned to teach Gel magic; instead, Daniel was assigned instead.
Based on what he had just asked the Ancient One, Gel thought for a moment and realized that Mordo was someone who also needed to be taught a lesson.
He should just line up at the back.
A series of thoughts raced through his mind. Gel ignored Kaecilius's rebuttal and simply stood on the steps, looking down at the crowd: "I will follow the Ancient One's instructions and immediately nullify all of Kaecilius's magic and throw him out of Kamar-Taj to fend for himself. Does anyone have any objections?"
Upon hearing this, not only did Mordo, who was about to speak, immediately shut up, but even the henchmen who wanted to stand up for Casillas in the audience stood frozen in place.
"By the way, if anyone thinks what he said makes sense, feel free to step forward. I can guarantee he'll receive the same treatment as Casillas," Ger added, glancing coldly down below.
All the disciples immediately turned their gaze to the Ancient One. When they saw that the Ancient One remained silent, they immediately understood that what Gel said was not a joke.
The look in his eyes as he looked at Geer suddenly turned one of utter horror.
If they are stripped of their magic and expelled from Kamar-Taj, their bodies will revert to their crippled state before they learned magic, which is even more terrifying than killing them!
"How dare you? I am the most talented mage in Kamar-Taj!" Kaecilius roared at Gale with a fierce but inwardly angry tone, but he quickly remembered that he had been defeated by Gale last time.
"No! No!" Kaecilius finally felt fear. He looked at Gale approaching and quickly took a few steps back. Then, Kaecilius looked at the Ancient One with pleading eyes, only to find that the Ancient One was just looking at him with pity and did not stop Gale's actions.
