Chapter 82 Agatha Reveals Her True Colors

Wanda sensed the intensity of the energy emanating from Agatha's hand, and her expression changed slightly.

"You mean this notebook, Wanda?" A strange smile appeared on Agatha's face. She stretched out her right hand slightly, and the notebook floated towards Wanda. However, as it floated, the notebook slowly opened, exposing the messy text written inside to the air.

“It’s a very bad habit to go through other people’s notes randomly.” A hint of anger flashed in Wanda’s eyes. She stretched her hands slightly forward, but no chaotic energy emerged from them.

Wanda stared in astonishment at her hands, then stretched them out again, but still no chaotic energy surged forth.

It was as if she had lost her magical abilities.

Slowly, Wanda withdrew her hands and retreated away from the room.

“You can’t use magic here.” Agatha watched Wanda’s movements with a smile, and when she saw Wanda retreat to the doorway, she suddenly extended her right hand to Wanda.

Wanda instinctively tried to back away, but suddenly felt a strong force surge through her hands and feet, and then her body involuntarily flew towards Agatha's direction.

"ah!"

Wanda felt the binding force on her hands and feet, and her body was out of control, so she screamed in panic.

At this moment, Agatha's face no longer held the kind and amiable smile of before; instead, it was filled with a ferocious and terrifying expression.

She had been preparing for this day for a long time; how could she possibly allow Wanda to escape?

A moment later, Agatha waved her hand, and a deep purple energy suddenly spread out, causing the house to shatter. Large amounts of bricks and stones flew away into the distance and landed on the street.

Around the house, eight characters in deep purple gradually appeared. Some characters appeared on the streetlights, and some appeared on the trees, but they happened to surround the house in the middle.

Wanda slowly looked at the words, her brows furrowed, filled with endless bewilderment.

“What, haven’t you seen these before? These are runes. When these runes are cast, only the wizard who cast the runes can use magic in this space.” Agatha’s expression held a hint of sneer and mockery.

Wanda looked at the bricks and stones scattered all over the street, but despite the commotion, no one came out to check.

A moment later, Wanda turned to look at Agatha and asked, "Who are you?"

"Who are you?" Agatha simply repeated Wanda's words, but her face was genuinely filled with confusion.

It's as if they genuinely don't know who Wanda is.

For no apparent reason, a sense of panic flashed through Wanda's mind.

“There’s an entire page in the Dark Book about chaos magic. But it clearly states that there can only be one person in each universe who possesses chaotic energy. And the master of the chaotic energy in this universe is you, Scarlet Witch, Wanda.” Agatha slowly circled Wanda, as if trying to see through Wanda’s heart.

“But not only do I have chaotic energy, my brother does too.” Wanda’s heart sank deeper and deeper, as if she were about to come into contact with some suffocating darkness, and her breathing became rapid involuntarily.

Agatha leaned close to Wanda's ear, her voice low and menacing like a devil's whisper: "That's exactly what I wanted to say. Why are there two people in this universe who possess chaos magic? Aren't you curious? Why is it that your chaos energy is so much weaker than your brother's, yet when your two chaos energies combine, they can cause a qualitative change in chaos energy, enhancing its effects so much?"

The more Agatha spoke, the more solemn Wanda's expression became. She even couldn't help but murmur, echoing Agatha's words, "Why?"

Agatha didn't answer further, but simply walked around Wanda.

However, with each step she took, Wanda's expression grew more serious.

After a moment, Wanda finally raised her head, her fear disappearing and her expression regaining its composure. She looked at Agatha seriously: "How did you know that my brother and I used combined chaos magic?"

“Do you remember when you dealt with the Hulk, She-Hulk, and Abomination? I happened to be there.” Agatha seemed confident of victory, or as if she were finally saying what had been building up in her heart for a long time, as she answered Wanda’s question. “I watched you and your brother use chaos magic at the same time. I still remember the wonderful scene when your chaotic energies combined. That’s why I secretly followed you, and I’ve been following you ever since.”

Wanda's memory was immediately pulled back to the time when she dealt with the Hulk, She-Hulk, and Abomination in New York. If her brother hadn't returned in time, she, Pietro, Peter, Harry, Natasha, and Tony would probably all be in grave danger.

It was only a year ago, but when I think about it carefully, it feels like a long time has passed.

However, Wanda looked at Agatha and shook her head: "What exactly is this 'Dark Book' you're talking about? Why do you believe so much in what's in it?"

Agatha looked into Wanda's eyes and clearly saw suspicion in them.

"The Dark Book records the most powerful dark magic in the universe; it is a true book of curses." Seemingly displeased with Wanda's reaction, Agatha laughed.

A moment later, Agatha slightly raised her hands, and a book, seemingly reborn from ashes, slowly took shape before her. At the same time, Agatha's voice echoed in Wanda's ears: "Wanda, you've been protected too well by that so-called brother. You don't even have basic vigilance. Do you know that there's an entire page in the Dark Book about you? The Scarlet Witch wasn't born, she was forged. She doesn't belong to any wizarding team, and she can cast any spell without even chanting incantations."
