Neither Heimdall nor the Rainbow Bridge responded to Thor's call.
Gel's gaze was fixed on the distant mountain peaks, his heart calm and unhurried, simply trailing behind Loki at a distance—as long as the Rainbow Bridge didn't appear, Loki would eventually be caught up by him!
"You two will definitely regret what you did today!" Loki was also getting desperate. He flew over and said to Thor and Gol with a ferocious expression.
By this time, Loki's battle robes were somewhat torn, and there were wounds on his face, clearly indicating that the pursuit had left him in a sorry state.
Thor reacted somewhat to Loki's harsh words, but Gale didn't react at all, focusing entirely on breaking Loki's invisibility and illusion magic.
Flying over mountain peaks and skimming past tall trees, Loki's eyes searched the surroundings before he finally swooped down and flew towards a cave.
Gol frowned slightly, looking at the dark cave, wondering what Loki was up to—even if Loki managed to make the mountain collapse, it wouldn't be able to kill him and Thor, so why bother escaping into the cave?
But after thinking it over, Ger still resolutely followed into the cave.
He has a portal, so if anything unexpected happens, he can simply open the portal and escape immediately. Besides, Loki doesn't have a way to kill him instantly!
Therefore, he has absolutely no need to be timid or hesitant.
Gel and Thor flew into the cave one after the other. It turned out to be a natural cave with a river running through the ground and rocks dripping with water.
"Loki, you're acting rashly in your panic." Gale's cold laugh reached Loki's ears, and Gale also clearly saw the frustrated expression on Loki's face.
The cave had only one straight path leading forward, rendering Loki's illusions and clones useless. As a result, Gale and Thor got closer and closer to Loki.
With that, Gol was no longer in a hurry. He simply maintained his original flight speed and chased after Loki, getting closer and closer to him.
However, Ger felt that something was off.
Something seems off.
But seeing Loki getting closer and closer, Gol shook his head and focused on chasing after Loki—as long as the portal could still open, he was invincible.
Once he passes through this cave, he will be much closer to Loki, and the task of capturing Loki will soon be completed!
With him and Thor around, he didn't believe Loki could escape.
Gradually, light began to come from the other end of the cave, and the surrounding space was no longer pitch black. As Geer looked at that spot, his expression relaxed slightly.
We must be approaching the cave entrance soon.
In an instant, Loki's flight speed increased again, and Gale and Thor gritted their teeth and used all their energy on flight, instantly increasing their speed as well.
"call out!"
"call out!"
"call out!"
Three whooshing sounds rang out, and then three figures flew out from one end of the cave one after another, continuing to fly forward.
At that moment, Ger's expression changed completely—the instant he flew out of the cave, he actually felt fluctuations in spatial energy.
He even felt a sudden shift in gravity, which made his flight somewhat unstable. The abrupt change in the surrounding scenery also sent a chill down his spine.
"Thor, go back now!" Ger shouted at Thor, who was following behind him. His shrill and terrified voice sent a chill down Thor's spine.
At the same time, Ger quickly turned around and flew back towards the original cave. His speed was even faster than when he came!
"You've come this far, why are you still thinking about escaping?" Loki's voice slowly came from behind, but this time his voice no longer carried the panic of before, but rather the smugness and excitement of a successful scheme.
Gol ignored Loki completely and flew towards the cave. However, the explosion and towering flames coming from the cave made Gol's heart sink.
Gel hovered above the exploded cave, sensing the chaotic spatial energy around him, trying to grasp the fluctuations within and return to the original cave. However, all his efforts were in vain.
Not only could Geer not grasp the information about the original spatial energy, he was also unable to open the spatial gate leading to New York!
"Is it because you can't open the portal back to Earth?" Loki's sly voice came from behind Gale.
Gol slowly turned around, looking at Loki with a solemn expression, while taking in the surrounding scenery out of the corner of his eye.
The scenery here is completely different from the bright and beautiful spring scenery outside. Here, the sky is extremely dark, and there is a biting cold wind and snow everywhere, just like the sky before the eternal night in the Arctic.
“Gale, this seems to be Jotunheim.” Thor’s solemn voice reached Gale’s ears.
Gel's pupils contracted slightly—just as he had guessed, this was Jotunheim. He now understood why his portal couldn't be opened: his magical abilities were completely insufficient to support a portal traversing such a long distance, from Jotunheim to Earth.
However, Loki lured them here, and he certainly has other plans. It seems likely that he and Thor are in grave danger!
At this point, Gol had no intention of capturing Loki.
He had sensed several unfamiliar presences around him, and these presences were all very powerful. One figure even exuded an aura that made him feel involuntarily terrified.
A thought flashed through his mind, and a spatial portal slowly opened beside him. Although the portal to Earth was no longer viable, portals to other parts of Jotunheim could still be opened. However, he wasn't familiar with Jotunheim, so he didn't know where this portal led. But if he could escape this place, he might be able to avoid this danger.
