Amidst the energy tornado, Hela's gaze met Wanda's, and silent smiles appeared on both of their faces.
It seems that both of them have absolute confidence in their own power.
But the next moment, a brighter smile appeared on the face of every figure in the sky, while Hela's gaze became serious for the first time.
A moment later, Hela swung her right hand forcefully, and more green energy surged from her right hand. The tangible green energy smashed away all the surrounding chaotic energy, preventing it from merging into the green energy. At the same time, Hela murmured, "What kind of energy is this? It can even absorb my death energy?"
From the moment she began her conquest of the Nine Realms alongside Odin, she knew clearly that among the many energies, hers was distinctly different—it was the deathly aura of death. Other energies, even if they were touched by it, would immediately be corrupted as if infected with a plague. If the energy was weaker, it would directly invade the body of its owner, causing them to be instantly reaped by the deathly energy.
This outcome has never been an exception in the process of conquering the Nine Realms, but today, she actually encountered someone who can absorb death energy, which is completely impossible!
Countless magical knowledge flashed through her mind, and then Hela paused slightly, as if there was a kind of energy that matched the characteristics of the girl in front of her.
"Is this chaotic energy?" Hela asked, wielding her longsword to destroy Wanda's figures while simultaneously looking up at one of them. Even as Wanda's figures in the sky were destroyed, Hela's gaze could always quickly pinpoint the location of the next Wanda phantom. Even as she was being absorbed by the chaotic energy, her expression remained calm and composed.
Wanda's nine phantoms drew closer to Hela, and a voice emanated from them simultaneously: "I have no habit of answering questions for my enemies."
"Arrogant little girl, but my death energy isn't something just anyone can absorb," Hela said with a cold laugh, simultaneously drawing the death energy into her body. The surrounding chaotic energy rapidly enveloped Hela's body, but Hela's energy remained tightly locked within. Each impact of the chaotic energy only took away a tiny fraction of the death energy!
Hela looked at Vision, who was floating to the side, seemingly waiting for some opportunity, with a hint of disdain: "Since you seem to value this artifact quite a bit, I'll kill him first."
The sky over Asgard was now divided in two. On one side, there were thick, almost impenetrable dark clouds; on the other, there was bright sunshine and vast expanses of white clouds. On the other side of the dark clouds lay Thor, gathering his energy; on the other side, Hela, Vision, and Wanda.
On this sunny side, sunlight shines through large swaths of white clouds, illuminating the surrounding ground with a mesmerizing golden glow, even covering the chaotic energy with a layer of gold.
But just then, a voice that could not be discerned from any direction rang out; it was Wanda's voice: "But you can't kill anyone."
A gentle breeze seemed to blow through the chaotic energy, causing a disturbance unlike anything else to emerge. However, this disturbance was so subtle that it went unnoticed by anyone. Yet, the cause of this disturbance was the invisible Wanda.
Wanda's figure in the sky still appears as nine figures, but her true form silently approaches Hela's body with a dagger in hand.
"Sizzle."
That was Loki's original dagger, a dagger capable of breaking through any magical barrier. Therefore, when it pierced Hela's body, it only made an extremely faint sound. But this sound was accompanied by immense pain, causing Hela's eyes to turn blood red instantly. She opened her mouth and roared. With one hand, she gripped the dagger that was still advancing, and with the other hand, a longsword immediately materialized in her hand and stabbed fiercely towards Wanda's body!
Wanda waved her right hand, and a shield appeared out of thin air, blocking her way—it was a vibranium shield specially made for her by Wakanda's Black Panther and his sister!
"when!"
A deafening sound rang out, and Wanda felt a sharp jolt in her hand, her wrist aching slightly. Just as she was about to break free, she heard Hela's chilling voice enter her ears: "You've already revealed yourself, and you still dare to try to escape?"
Wanda's body stiffened abruptly, a profound sense of crisis washing over her. As her head slowly rose to meet Hella's gaze, a layer of panic surged within her—a mad, relentless look of determination, as if nothing could stand in her way to victory. And anything that did stand in her way would be destroyed!
"Do you think you can escape by keeping me here?" Wanda's eyes hardened instantly, and chaotic energy erupted, striking Hela's left hand while thrusting forward to plunge the dagger deeper into Hela's body!
Hela's right hand surged with death energy, halting Wanda's left hand's advance. But whether due to her injury or the overwhelming power of Wanda's chaotic energy, the dagger continued its dagger's trajectory towards her body.
However, Hela remained unmoved. She simply held Wanda's hand tightly and did not let go. The long sword flying in the sky had already broken through the chaotic energy and was stabbing fiercely towards Wanda's body!
Her once-famous magic sword, renowned throughout the Nine Realms, also possessed the ability to break through magic shields!
Just then, Vision's body materialized, suddenly appearing behind Wanda. His body gleamed with a metallic sheen in the sunlight, appearing as smooth as human skin, but everyone who knew Vision knew just how incredibly sturdy his body was!
