Chapter 79 "A-Zhi, what should I call you?"...

The lagging servants eventually caught up, and while they were worried about the safety of Tsugikuni Iwakatsu, they were also proud of having a powerful leader.

Most of them had only recently joined the ranks of Jiguo Yansheng, so they were naturally unaware of their connection with Azhi.

And so, under the watchful eyes of everyone, the ever-serious young patriarch, like a weary bird returning to its nest, rested his forehead on the girl's shoulder and neck, his actions revealing utter intimacy.

It was as if they had never been apart, and all these years had not made them strangers.

But Jiguo Yansheng knew that this wasn't the case for the girl. He closed his eyes tightly, as if suppressing something, trying to control himself from showing an inappropriate expression.

The servants were greatly shocked and stood frozen in place, like statues.

Ah Zhi, however, was able to empathize; she was also bewildered.

In her view, the childhood "playmate" relationship, coupled with the long separation, does not seem to be enough to support their current actions.

You should know that she and Yoriichi don't often act like this.

It wasn't until the boy's deep red hair brushed against her cheek, making her feel very itchy, that she instinctively wanted to push him away and get away, but the arm wrapped around her shoulder remained motionless.

Moreover, whether it was her imagination or not, Azhi felt that Ji Guoyan was using more and more force, making it almost impossible for her to breathe.

She was breathing heavily, her cheeks were flushed even more than before, her eyes looked up, and her tone was pitiful without her realizing it: "...Let me go."

Azhi was earnestly making her request, but her soft voice lacked the power to persuade others to comply, instead highlighting her own predicament.

"A-Zhi, what should I call you?"

Ji Guoyan said slowly, seemingly giving the girl enough time to think so that she could come up with the correct answer, even though his question was very simple.

This scene overlapped with one from a few years ago, and Ji Guoyan raised the same question again, which is enough to show how much he cares.

With nowhere to hide, Azhi stared blankly into his eyes, almost passively answering the question. She whispered, "Yansheng."

"You got it right."

Having achieved his goal, Ji Guoyansheng's lips curled into a very slight smile, but it was fleeting and went unnoticed by those present.

He loosened his grip, but instead of creating distance between himself and Azhi, he wanted to take her outside.

Frankly speaking, for the doctor who has been completely reduced to a background figure standing behind Jikuni Iwakatsu and Aori, it would be wise for him to choose not to get involved and protect himself.

Although they didn't know who Tsugikuni Iwakatsu's true identity was, it didn't stop them from seeing from all that he was a person of noble status, someone that ordinary people like them couldn't possibly deal with.

However, out of his conscience, he couldn't just stand by and watch Azhi be taken away like that.

The girl was undoubtedly beautiful.

She was so beautiful that the doctor immediately understood why Yoriichi Tsugikuni chose to live in seclusion in the mountains despite the extreme inconvenience of travel, and why, when the bandits arrived, the doctor chose to shield her first...

Even so, trouble still found her.

Everything that just happened was very sudden. The doctor didn't see Ji Guoyansheng's face, nor did he hear his conversation with Azhi clearly. So in his eyes, it was just a scene of "robbery".

Especially since the one who was robbed was Yoriichi's younger sister.

The doctor was sweating profusely as he trembled, trying to figure out how to resolve the current crisis, when he saw Yoriichi Tsugikuni rushing back like the wind.

The usually reserved young man suddenly appeared with a sharp edge, his eyes and brows darkening. He held a knife in his right hand, his long hair flowing freely, and he appeared before everyone in an instant.

The sheer power that comes into view.

Yoriichi Tsugikuni first confirmed that Oori and the doctor were safe, and then saw Kokushibo Tsugikuni, who was completely unexpected, and was somewhat shocked: "—Brother!"

When the thieves reached the backyard, Yoriichi Tsugikuni was carrying medicinal herbs while worrying about Ori's illness.

He was worried that the girl, who was alone, might not understand what the doctor said, or she might understand but not remember it completely. This was very possible, so he secretly thought that he would ask her again when he got back.

Then I came face to face with the thief.

The continuous journey had left the bandits exhausted. They were ruthless killers, their bodies reeking of blood, and their waists were laden with various deadly weapons, the leader even carrying a knife.

Yoriichi Tsugikuni calmly watched the bandits surround him, and amidst their sinister laughter and the gleaming weapons, he casually picked up the carrying pole for the medicinal herbs.

A few breaths later, after binding the unconscious robber, Yoriichi Tsugikuni picked up the knife the robber had dropped and ran quickly toward Aori and the doctor.

"…………"

After removing the lines on Yoriichi Tsugikuni's forehead, there are two identical faces, plus the title we just mentioned.

The servants were completely silent, speechless with shock. After a few seconds, they belatedly drew their swords and pointed them at Yoriichi Tsugikuni.

Kokushiro Kokushi frowned, staring intently at Yoriichi Kokushiro. He did not answer, nor did he show much joy at the reunion. After a moment, he raised his hand and waved away the nervous servants.

The moment he saw Aori, Kokushibo knew that he would encounter Yoriichi again. However, this time, he would not be as foolish as he was when he was a child and do nothing.

He wouldn't let Azhi and Jiguo leave again and again so easily.

Ji Guoyan stepped forward and blocked the girl's way. The servants beside him, sensing his intention, spontaneously blocked the doorway, not intending to let her leave.

The situation became even more unpredictable, and even felt incredibly heavy.

Azhi, in particular, felt very constrained.

Subconsciously, she felt that as long as Yoriichi appeared, all the problems would be solved, but in reality, the problems became even more complicated.

It was so complicated that Azhi's little brain couldn't figure it out at all.

She really didn't know how things had developed to this point. The tension she had been building up was increasing, and her lower abdomen had started to feel sore and painful without her noticing.

Ah Zhi couldn't stand up any longer and couldn't help but rub her body. She felt an uncontrollable warm current surging out from below.

She stood there dumbfounded, completely unaware of what had happened. She looked down helplessly, her mind going completely blank, unable to think straight.

Aori felt she might be dying, so she immediately went to call Yoriichi Tsugikuni, but she couldn't explain the situation clearly, and tears were about to fall.

"...Yoriichi, I, I..."

The girl swayed slightly, as if she had suffered a great blow; her cheeks turned deathly pale, and obvious pain appeared between her brows and eyes.

Ji Guoyan suddenly realized that Azhi had been brought here to seek medical treatment, and in that instant, all the complicated thoughts in his mind became irrelevant.

His expression changed, and panic appeared in his eyes. In that brief moment, Yoriichi Tsugikuni responded to the girl and rushed forward to embrace her.

Ji Guoyan gritted his teeth.
