Song Xingyao noticed a faint bloodstain on his chin and pulled him to the sofa.
"Fu Siming? What's wrong?"
He regained his relaxed demeanor.
He buried his head in Song Xingyao's shoulder.
"I miss you." The sudden, affectionate confession caught Song Xingyao off guard.
They hadn't spent so much time together quietly like this for many days.
A deep voice came from the crook of his neck, "Didn't you say you wanted to go on vacation? Let's go. Now."
"Now?" Song Xingyao's face showed a surprised expression.
Song Xingyao felt sorry for the dark circles under his eyes. "Okay."
How could she not know that Fu Siming's sudden behavior was strange? She just didn't ask. She remembered that Fu Siming had promised her that he wouldn't let her follow him anymore. She would just wait for him to speak.
For the past three days, they have been inseparable, and Song Xingyao would occasionally look at him with an observant gaze when she had free time.
But Fu Siming cleverly used various methods to distract her.
The day before they were to return to Jiangcheng, the two were taking a walk on the beach when a loud bang was heard on the distant sand, and a bright light burst open in the night sky with dazzling colors.
Song Xingyao stood still, looking at his face. "Fu Siming, don't you really have anything to say to me?"

Recalling Fu Quan's reaction in the office that day, he felt a little scared and shook his head, "No, what's wrong with you?"
He casually tucked her hair behind her ear.
Song Xingyao eventually followed him back to the hotel.
In the latter half of the night, as Song Xingyao fell into a deep sleep, she felt his voice, softly kissing and pleading, blending into the dark night.
