Chapter 270 Brothers Fighting

This was the first time Jiang Man had seen him like this. Although Fu Bowen didn't like to talk to them, he never acted like this. She felt that her son was somewhat unfamiliar.

She took two steps back, and the maid beside her was so frightened by the sudden outburst of this usually refined and quiet young master that she froze in place.

The housekeeper was the first to react and rushed upstairs to inform Fu Ting.

At that moment, Fu Siming returned to the main house from the old man's villa.

Fu Siming's appearance fueled Fu Bowen's anger, and he swayed as he walked up to him.

Seeing his younger brother looking at him coldly, he grabbed Fu Siming's collar, but the latter immediately reached out and grabbed his wrist.

"What are you going to do, Fu Bowen?" The cold tone carried a hint of warning.

Fu Bowen let out a cold laugh, "Why? Why should everyone only see you? You're so high and mighty, saying on the surface that you don't want the Fu family's business, but behind the scenes you're making Tiansheng bigger and stronger just to swallow it up, so that you can put the Fu family and Fu Corporation on your name, Fu Siming."

Fu Siming didn't deny it, but instead said something that seemed designed to provoke him: "If you're so capable, you can do it too."

Fu Bowen swung his fist toward Fu Siming's face, but Fu Siming dodged it.

Because of the alcohol, he stumbled forward and had to lean on the display cabinet behind the door to regain his balance.

She glared at Fu Siming with barely concealed anger in her eyes, "When I took you out, I was going to strangle you so that I would be the only child in the Fu family."

Upon hearing him bring up that childhood incident again, Fu Siming could no longer hold back, and the two brothers started fighting.

Jiang Man stood there, almost frozen, listening to the two brothers arguing back and forth.

Anger welled up in her chest, especially when she heard Fu Bowen say he wanted to kill his own brother. She stepped forward, trying to separate the two wrestling men, but in the chaos, she was knocked away.

Fu Ting caught her quickly and instructed the maid beside him, "Pull them apart!"

A group of people rushed forward and struggled to pull the two apart. Both of them had bruises on their faces, but Fu Bowen's were much more serious, with his glasses broken somewhere.

The blood seeping from the corner of his mouth looked rather horrifying.

He spat out a mouthful of blood and continued to utter harsh words.

Fu Ting realized he couldn't hold onto the woman in his arms. Jiang Man broke free and walked up to Fu Bowen, slapping him hard across the face.

Fu Bowen was still not fully awake, his eyes fixed fiercely on Jiang Man. "You hit me? Mom? You've never hit me before? Now you're hitting me for Fu Siming's sake?"

"Ha, I knew it. You're biased towards him. None of you treat me like a member of the Fu family. You only have eyes for Fu Siming!" He finished speaking and laughed self-deprecatingly.

Jiang Man's hands were a little numb, and she said disappointedly, "Yes, you know I've never hit you before. I'm hitting you now because you actually had the thought of hurting your family."

My hands were trembling slightly from excitement.

Fu Ting walked behind her and put his arm around her shoulder.

Jiang Man took a deep breath and calmed down: "Your father and grandfather both said they wanted to hand over the Fu family to your younger brother. I told them not to get involved and to let you fight it out yourselves. That way, you could naturally decide the winner. But you shouldn't have wanted to kill your brother just because of that. I'm really disappointed in you!"

Although Jiang Man was usually fiery, she rarely said anything harsh to the two brothers.

She still remembered that when Fu Siming was born, Fu Bowen was also happy and took good care of this little guy who was related to him by blood, letting him run around behind him.

From what day did their relationship change, becoming one where they would never speak to each other again?

What surprised her most was that Fu Siming's disappearance was also orchestrated by Fu Bowen, something she, as his mother, was completely unaware of.

She turned to look at Fu Siming, who had been released by the servants. "You knew it too, didn't you? You knew from the beginning that it was your brother who took you out, and we went through all the trouble of finding you and bringing you back, but you didn't say anything?"

"Did you two brothers even think about me when you did this? If you don't want to be sons of the Fu family, then get out of here!"

The old man's voice rang out at the right moment, "Shut up, both of you. You two, come with me."

Fu Mingtang glanced at the mess on the ground, then, holding his cane, addressed the two angry men.

Fu Ting was worried that the old man was furious, and he was also concerned about his wife who was trembling with anger in his arms. He instructed the butler to go and check on the situation and report back immediately if anything happened.

He stayed by Jiang Man's side to comfort her.

The old man walked ahead alone, not heading towards the study, but leading the two people to the Fu family ancestral hall in the backyard. Although it was called an ancestral hall, it actually only contained a portrait and memorial tablet of Fu's grandmother.

"Kneel down."

Fu Mingtang didn't turn around, but spoke to the two people behind him.

Although the two were unconvinced, they ultimately did not disobey the old man.

Fu Mingtang lit three incense sticks for his wife, then muttered something under his breath, raised his cane, and struck the two of them hard on the back.

Neither of the brothers expected their grandfather to make such a move, and they both let out a muffled groan.

“I thought to myself years ago that your father had no interest in business, so where did your grandmother’s love of business go? It turns out it was all passed down to you two across generations.”

After he finished speaking, he sighed, "Bowen, you're the eldest, you go first, how long have you been having those thoughts?"

“…”, Fu Bowen remained silent and did not respond.

"Why are you not talking now? Weren't you talking so enthusiastically just now? You made your mother so angry?!" After saying that, he raised his cane and struck her again.
