As Yes walked out of the operating room, the two bodyguards were still standing there.
A rare, subtle expression appeared on his usually cold and aloof face: a working-class man had made a mess and didn't know how to handle it.
Yes put his hands inside his white coat over his surgical gown.
"The surgery is over. Due to excessive blood loss, the patient has been moved to the intensive care unit for observation. Where are the family members?"
His words added an extra layer of awkwardness to the expressions on their faces.
"We've already notified them, and they're on their way."
Although he said that, he had already seen through it all. He just didn't expect that Sun Jiming would not come over even though Li Xinyi had such a big problem.
Too lazy to bother with him, Ye Si felt annoyed for the first time.
Pushing open the office door, the nurse finally managed to calm Sun Hui down from the sofa.

"Uncle Ye...where's Mom?"
He smiled and said, "Mom is fine. Uncle has already treated her wound and she's in the ward now. Why don't you take a nap here and I'll wake her up when she wakes up?"

Then they saw Sun Jiming raise his hand and slap a bodyguard's face so hard it was turned to the side.
When Sun Hui saw the person not far away, she was so frightened that she broke free from Ye Si's hand and hid behind him.
Seeing Sun Jiming coming in this direction, he felt Sun Hui, who was standing behind his trouser leg, tremble even more violently.

He extended his hand. "Dr. Ye, thank you for taking care of my wife. How is she doing now?"
