Chapter 35 Madam, are you pregnant?

The two stayed at the old house for one night. The next morning, Fu Siming decided to leave early because he had been delayed at the company for a long time due to the previous incident.

Hearing him get up, Song Xingyao suddenly lost her sleepiness and packed up to leave the old house together.

Looking at the woman struggling to stay awake, Fu Siming chuckled, "You keep sleeping. I'll go to the company first, and then I'll have the driver take you home."

"I'm not sleepy anymore. I want to go back to the hotel to pack up. Just drop me off there."

Since she had agreed to trust him, Song Xingyao decided to move back to Haiyan and naturally wouldn't throw a tantrum and insist on living outside.

The reason I wanted to do it earlier was because I had arranged to meet with Mr. Wu at his studio today to discuss the theme and details of the next exhibition and auction.

The driver dropped Song Xingyao off at the hotel entrance. As she got out of the car, Fu Siming told her that he would pick her up from Old Wu's studio in the afternoon.

The car drove to Tiansheng, and it was quiet the whole way. Suddenly, the man in the back seat asked, "Old Xu, what do you think is the best way to appease a woman when she's angry?"

Hearing this, even the elderly Old Xu was stunned for a second. He had watched the young master grow up, and he had never been anxious about women before.

Old Xu thought that the young master must love the young mistress very much, but the young master's absence from the wedding had caused quite a stir, and everyone in Jiangcheng knew about it. Even he went back and heard about it from his own son.

He wondered how a woman like the young mistress could withstand so much gossip, and assumed that the young master had no feelings for her.

Old Xu replied respectfully, "Young Master, I'm a rough man, how would I know how to please a woman? But I think that as long as you put your heart into it, the young mistress will surely forgive you."

After he finished speaking, there was a long silence in the car. Even after the car stopped in front of Tiansheng, there was no response from the back seat.

Old Xu couldn't help but wonder if he had said something wrong.

Old Xu wasn't sure if he'd misheard, but it seemed like he heard the young master let out a long sigh before getting out of the car.

He thought to himself that the problems between him and his young mistress seemed quite serious.

Song Xingyao had already packed her things and checked out of the room.

I even replied to the real estate agent on my phone, saying I wasn't going to rent the apartment anymore, and got yelled at... It wasn't over until I had to pay back the deposit.

Thinking that she had plenty of time, she decided to go back to Haiyan to rest first.

Today, Song Xingyao was able to stay quiet for a while, which made her realize that she might be sleeping more and more frequently lately.

Unexpectedly, as soon as I entered the yard, I saw Qi's mother coming out of the living room.

After the wedding, Qi's mother went back to Haiyan to take care of things. She found it strange to see Song Xingyao carrying a bag back, since she usually stayed at home when she wasn't working.

Because she was busy working to earn money during college, Song Xingyao's social circle was very small. The people she knew were usually older than her, and she rarely went out with them.

Qi's mother also felt that this was not good. She was so young and always stayed at home. She regarded Song Xingyao as her own daughter and sometimes she was really worried about her.

Thinking of this, Qi's mother quickly took the bag from her hand.

After such a big incident, the entire Fu family was worried about how her relationship with Fu Siming would change. When Qi Ma returned, Jiang Man repeatedly told her to pay close attention to the young couple's condition.

Song Xingyao also affectionately took Qi Ma's hand and went inside. As usual, as soon as they entered, they smelled the soup that Qi Ma had cooked.

But today, smelling the rich soup in the room, she had no desire to drink it at all; instead, her stomach felt churning.

She rushed to the bathroom and vomited while leaning on the sink.

When Qi's mother came out of the kitchen with the soup, she found that Song Xingyao was nowhere to be seen in the living room. Then she went to the bathroom and heard a series of vomiting sounds coming from inside.

She pounded on the door with some concern and shouted, "Madam, are you alright? Are you feeling unwell?"

After waiting for a while, Song Xingyao finally came out, her face covered in water droplets, and the hair on her forehead was messy and damp due to her uncomfortable physical reaction.

Having just vomited, she appeared pale and frail, her hands bracing against the metal door frame, her fingers barely managing to support her thin body.

Seeing that Qi Ma hadn't put the bowl down yet, he quickly waved his hand, indicating that she should move it away.

He said weakly and hoarsely, "This smells too fishy. Let's open the window and let some fresh air in."

Hearing her say that, Aunt Qi quickly opened all the windows in the living room. Fresh air mixed with the fragrance of flowers in the garden came in, and Song Xingyao finally felt that the fishy smell in her nasal cavity had been washed away.

After helping her to sit down on the sofa, Qi's mother thought about what she had just said and her vomiting, and finally realized something was wrong. She looked like she was pregnant.

She asked excitedly, "Madam, are you pregnant?"

!? !?

Pregnant?!!!!??

When those two words appeared, Song Xingyao's mind began to go blank. She thought: No way?!

An excited voice sounded again beside me: "Have you been feeling like you can't get enough sleep lately? Do you feel particularly heavy, and occasionally have a poor appetite, nausea, or vomiting?"

Song Xingyao on the sofa still didn't respond, and Qi's mother started to get a little anxious.

At this moment, Song Xinyao was calmly thinking about whether the symptoms that Qi Ma mentioned had all occurred in her.

Thinking about my situation lately, it seems that's indeed the case, which is why such a big thing happened. Could it be that I'm really pregnant?

He and Fu Siming hadn't taken any precautions, but for months, it was as if they'd never imagined something like this would happen.

Because the two of them had had very few opportunities to meet recently, let alone have had any physical intimacy...

Only last month, because of wedding preparations, did the two stay at the old house for a long time, and thus had a little more time together.

No way... it can't be that much of a coincidence, can it?

Since marrying him, Song Xingyao had considered the possibility of getting pregnant. If it were true, she would be at a loss, especially after what happened recently.

Although she decided to trust Fu Siming, their relationship was not at its most stable.

Her hand gently rested on her lower abdomen before she calmly said, "Aunt Qi, let me confirm this before we talk about it. Don't tell anyone yet. If it turns out to be false, Mom and Grandpa will be disappointed."

Qi's mother nodded repeatedly in agreement, and then excitedly went to prepare a nutritious lunch for her.

Song Xingyao originally wanted to rest for a while, but this news made her more awake, and she plans to take some time tomorrow to go to the hospital for a check-up.

Whether it's true or false, there should be a conclusion.

Although the check-up hadn't been done yet and things weren't finalized, she still chose a pair of soft-soled shoes and went to the studio that afternoon.

Upon arriving at the studio, Song Xingyao saw the backs of Old Wu and a young woman sitting inside, chatting and laughing.

When the woman turned around to greet her, Song Xingyao stopped in her tracks.

How could it be her?
