Fu Siming was pleased by her undisguised words and wanted to finish his work as soon as possible so he could take her home.
Just then, her phone rang, displaying Qiao Yiyang's name.
He didn't avoid Song Xingyao and answered the call directly: "Okay, go ahead."
[Qiao Yiyang: I've sent you the video, watch it yourself.]
He silently opened the video feed, which was a surveillance video of Wu Mu and Fu Yao in front of the lounge. The video clearly showed the scene from Fu Yao entering, the maid leaving, to Wu Mu and Fu Yao coming out together.
[Qiao Yiyang: I asked Uncle Fu, and Fu Yao said that Aunt Wu was perfectly fine when she came out.]
But Wu Mu in the video was clearly not as she described; her steps and movements appeared very hurried and excited.
Fu Siming was silent for a moment before replying to Qiao Yiyang: "Understood."
He certainly understood Qiao Yiyang's meaning: he meant Fu Yao deliberately provoked Wu Mu and then took him to the terrace. But why would she do that? Was it aimed at Wu Mu? Or Song Xingyao?
He didn't tell Song Xingyao about this, since it was all just speculation and there was no evidence to prove it.
Seeing Song Xingyao scrolling through her phone on the sofa, he closed the document in his hand, walked over, snatched her phone away, and said, "Let's go home."
Before Song Xingyao could react, she was pulled out of the office. The employees, seeing their president like this, had long since lost their previous sullen expressions.
Everyone couldn't help but silently give Song Xingyao a thumbs up. As expected of the president's wife, she's incredibly capable.
