Chapter 84 Lin Qingyi: Is this how you leave?

Ang considered himself a very vigilant person, but Lin Qingyi stayed in the room for an entire afternoon, and he was so busy dealing with his things that he didn't even notice her presence.

Her hair was casually tied into a low ponytail with a floral ribbon, and it had become somewhat disheveled with her movements.

Lin Qingyi put down her notebook and drawing tools and looked up at him.

Their eyes met briefly before quickly looking away.

A short while later, Lin Qingyi walked out of the ward.

When she came back, she was carrying a food box. She explained to him that it was the dinner she had prepared for lunch, which she had asked her aunt to deliver.

The lunchbox contained simple home-style dishes, which, although they had been prepared for a while, still looked appetizing.

The two enjoyed the meal quietly.

Lin Qingyi then began to hand him the things she had brought for him at noon, one by one. Ang patiently waited for her to put the usage labels on each item.

Looking at the things on the table, I thought I would tell her I was feeling better and then leave.

But when I saw her face, for some reason, I just couldn't bring myself to speak.

She didn't say a word until her figure disappeared through the closed door.

Lin Qingyi was worried that he would be bored, so she left him her computer as well.

In the days that followed, Lin Qingyi continued to bring him meals every day as usual.

Seeing that he was in much better spirits, I felt relieved to leave him alone and stopped spending the whole day in the ward, only occasionally coming over in the morning or afternoon.

The two continued to busy themselves with their own things in the room, and the silent environment actually brought their souls closer together.

But when Lin Qingyi brought it over as usual that morning, she found that the person in the ward was no longer there.

Everything was neatly placed in its place, as if the owner of the house had only left briefly, but the note on the table told her that Ang had left.

They also left her a large sum of money; the thick envelope was so heavy that it was difficult for her to pick it up with one hand. But apart from the fluttering "thank you" on the note, there was no contact information or other details.

Lin Qingyi felt a little disappointed and stood there for a long time.

She even felt that he had timed her arrival precisely so that he would casually toss the money on the table so that she could see it as soon as she walked in.

She wondered: Is this how it's going to end?

But soon she smiled again, and the previous look of disappointment and loneliness disappeared.

They weren't familiar with it to begin with, so this is the right thing to do.

Even so, she didn't blame him for leaving without saying goodbye. Instead, she packed up all the things in the room and went to the hospital to settle her bill and complete the discharge procedures.

She looked at the name on the medical record and remembered what Ang had specifically told her: "The person staying in the hospital is Oko, not Ang."

Yes, his name is Ang, that's right.

Lin Qingyi called a driver to pick her up, and just like before, she packed all her things and put them in the car herself.

The action was completed in one smooth motion, and then he left the hospital.

Across the street, Ang had already changed into a completely new face, so even if he stood very close, Lin Qingyi wouldn't recognize him.

Watching the car drive away, he turned and left.

Haiyan.

These days, Fu Siming has been coming home later and later because he's been dealing with the dispute over the commencement of construction on the southern land plot with Song Ping.

After each time I brought her back, I would go to my study to work overtime until late at night.

When Song Xingyao got up in the middle of the night, she felt that the area around her was still cold and empty.

So she couldn't help but sneak into the study and saw the man still busy in front of the computer, and she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

Seeing her standing at the door, Fu Siming stepped forward and brought her to his side, asking her if she couldn't sleep without him by her side.

When she honestly admitted it, I felt a little guilty.

He draped his outer robe over Song Xingyao while still typing away.

Song Xingyao felt sorry for him, "Is it very difficult? You've been very tired lately."

"It's not a big problem, it'll be resolved soon." This wasn't just to comfort her; it really was almost resolved.

The south is too far from the center, and the emperor is far away, so smooth communication did take some effort, but it went relatively smoothly.

The problem is almost solved now.

Hearing him say that, Song Xingyao moved in his arms like a kitten, wrapping her arms around his neck, resting her head in the crook of his neck, and rubbing against him.

Fu Siming's lips curled into a slight smile as he exited the page, shut down the computer, and carried the person in his arms back to the room.

Song Xingyao's belly was already quite large, but her limbs were still thin in comparison, and her weight had not increased much.

It looks like all the nutrients have been absorbed by the little one inside her.

He put her on the bed, tidied himself up and washed up, and then lay down next to her again.

I closed my eyes, but couldn't fall asleep. In the afternoon, I received a message from Ang, which was more than half a month later. Fu Yao and Gu Mai actually had a child.

But he didn't notice at all. As he thought about it, the fragrance in his arms gradually made him sleepy.

The next day, when Song Xingyao got up, she was surprised to find that he was still asleep.

Although he held her in his arms, she didn't feel confined at all. Even when she fell asleep, she was still aware of her movements. How could she sleep well like that?

Song Xingyao remained motionless, wanting him to rest a little longer, but the man soon showed signs of waking up.

After struggling to turn around, I saw that he had already opened his eyes and was looking at me.

"I want you to sleep a little longer..."

"Thanks to Mrs. Fu, I have fully recovered."

She was restless as soon as she got up. Song Xingyao tried to get up, but she felt a little heavy, and the man used a little force to make it impossible for her to get up.

"What, Mr. Fu, you're not in a hurry to go to the company today?"

"It's alright. Losing one day's earnings is more than enough to support Mrs. Fu."

He deliberately rolled onto Song Xingyao, carefully supporting himself so as not to touch her, and then Fu Siming's unique scent rushed into his nose.

However, Song Xingyao blushed because the two hadn't been this intimate for a long time, and the clear morning air was disrupted by him.

Song Xingyao thought that since she was pregnant, no matter what she did, he could never do anything about it.

So he deliberately reached out and grabbed his neck, pulling him close abruptly.

But who is Fu Siming? He's a notorious shameless rogue.

His lips immediately began to wander restlessly down her earlobe, to her collarbone, and then to her chest.

Startled, Song Xingyao released her grip and placed her hands on his shoulders.

The man in front of her pretended not to notice and whispered in her ear, "Mrs. Fu, why are you shy? I thought you meant for me to continue."

The scorching heat made her ears feel like they were burning. The woman beneath him remained silent for a long time, her face flushed. Fu Siming rolled off the bed.

Left alone in bed, Song Xingyao yelled: "You pervert!!!"
