Chapter 52: Spring is in the air

Chi Xuan covered her face in disbelief, gritted her teeth and looked at Chi Muzhen and said, "How dare you hit me!"

Chi Muzhen paused for a moment, looked up at Huo Yunting and said, "The other two slaps were a lesson for what she did to my horse at the stables that day. I'm a man who never forgets my grudges. If you're really that heartbroken, you can take it for her next time!"
"What about me? I wronged you that day at the horse farm. How do you plan to get back at me?"
Chi Muzhen lowered her eyes and applied the medicine on her arm. She threw the cotton swab into the trash can before looking up at Huo Yunting.
"You can slap yourself if you want, but your accusation won't actually hurt me, and there's no need for me to retaliate against you just for a few words."
After saying that, Chi Muzhen packed up the medicine box and prepared to leave.
Huo Yunting grabbed her hand and said in a low voice, "Chi Muzhen, you agreed to stay in the villa to take care of me. Isn't it because you still have feelings for me?"
