Chapter 57: Full House
Chi Muzhen looked at him coldly, without a trace of warmth in her eyes.
"So you hired someone to follow me. Did they find anything? Did they see me kissing the guy, or did they see me checking into a hotel with the guy?"
Huo Yunting frowned and was about to speak when Chi Muzhen turned around and left.
The two fell into a cold war, and even Xiao Li and the aunt who cooked noticed it.
Auntie pulled Chi Muzhen aside and whispered, "Miss Chi, did you have a fight with Mr. Huo?"
"No, what's wrong?"
"Mr. Huo seems to be in a bad mood recently."
Chi Muzhen was silent for a few seconds, then said, "Maybe there are too many things going on in the company. Don't worry about him. He will be fine after a while."

After her aunt left, Chi Muzhen waited on the sofa for Huo Yunting to come back for dinner.
Near seven o'clock, Ke Ning called and said that Huo Yunting was going to attend a banquet and would not return to the villa for dinner tonight.
After hanging up the phone, Chi Muzhen was too lazy to heat up the food. He ate something casually, watched some TV series, and then went back to his room to sleep.
At the dinner, Huo Yunting would ask Ke Ning to give him his phone every half an hour.
At first, Ke Ning thought Huo Yunting was waiting for a call from an important client. At around ten o'clock, Huo Yunting checked his phone again, then frowned and asked, "What did you say to Chi Muzhen?"
Ke Ning was stunned for a moment, and subconsciously said: "Just tell Miss Chi that you are not going back for dinner."
"She didn't react?"
"Miss Chi said she knew."
Huo Yunting's face darkened. "She didn't ask me when I would be back?"
"No."
Huo Yunting didn't say anything else and turned around to drink another glass of wine.
At ordinary dinner parties, no one dared to persuade Huo Yunting to drink, but tonight he accepted everyone and had drunk no less than ten glasses so far.

Huo Yunting gave him a cold look and said, "Call Chi Muzhen and ask her to pick me up."

He quickly dialed Chi Muzhen's number, but the other party didn't answer until the call was hung up.
"Mr. Huo, no answer."
"Keep fighting!"
After calling four or five times without any success, Huo Yunting's expression became increasingly gloomy.
Just as Ke Ning was about to continue dialing, Huo Yunting said coldly, "Don't call, send me back!"
When we returned to the villa, it was already past eleven o'clock in the evening.
Ke Ning sent Huo Yunting into the villa and left. Huo Yunting had a cold expression on his face and slid his wheelchair into the bedroom.
When he turned on the bedroom light and saw Chi Muzhen sleeping soundly on the floor, Huo Yunting couldn't help but feel a surge of anger in his heart.
He has been in a cold war with her these past few days and has been in a state of irritability every day. But she, on the other hand, eats well and sleeps soundly, and doesn't take him seriously at all!

"I won't be away all night."

After she washed up and walked out of the bedroom, she saw Huo Yunting sitting in the living room, talking on the phone.
He wore a gray sweater and black trousers today, which made him look less cold.
Chi Muzhen looked away for a few seconds, then turned and went into the kitchen.
When he came out after making breakfast, Huo Yunting had already made a phone call.
"Jin Yi wants to treat you to lunch at noon to make amends. Do you want to go?"
A hint of surprise flashed in Chi Muzhen's eyes. After such an unpleasant incident at MY's door last time, Jin Yi still planned to apologize to her?

"Then tell me, how did you know I was having dinner with the opposite sex last time?"
