Chapter 876 You Will Be Fine
Huo Yunting froze in place, his eyes filled with anger as he thought about having to watch Xiao Muzhen get hurt.
"Jing Xuechu, if you dare to touch her again, I swear, I will make you pay the price!"
Jing Xuechu sneered, "Do you think I'm afraid? Do you want to threaten me with the Jing family or something else? Unfortunately, I don't care."
As she spoke, she took out a remote control from somewhere and played with it casually.
When Huo Yunting saw the remote control, his expression changed.
"Jing Xuechu, please calm down. There's no point in doing this. It will only hurt innocent people."
Jing Xuechu burst into laughter, her eyes revealing determination and madness: "Innocent? Who is innocent? Xiao Muzhen? She stole you away, she is not innocent! I want her to be buried with me, so that you will always remember me and the name Jing Xuechu!"
Huo Yunting's heart tightened. He saw the determination in Jing Xuechu's eyes and knew that she was really crazy.
"What happened between us has nothing to do with her! I am willing to bear all the consequences as long as you let her go."
However, Jing Xuechu no longer listened to anything. She laughed wildly and suddenly pressed the remote control in her hand.
"No!" Huo Yunting shouted in horror, but it was too late.
With a loud bang, the entire abandoned shipyard was instantly engulfed in flames. The shock wave of the explosion knocked Huo Yunting away. He fell heavily to the ground and lost consciousness.
When Huo Yunting woke up again, the surroundings were in a mess, with ruins and burning ships everywhere.
His heart sank suddenly and he struggled to stand up, desperately searching for her among the ruins.
"Xiao Muzhen! Xiao Muzhen!" Huo Yunting shouted anxiously, his heart filled with fear and anxiety.
Finally, in a corner of the ruins, he saw Xiao Muzhen trapped under a huge rock.
Her face was pale, but she was still breathing weakly.
"Mu Zhen!" Huo Yunting shouted excitedly. He quickly moved the huge rock that was pressing on her and carefully held her in his arms.
Xiao Muzhen slowly opened her eyes and saw Huo Yunting's anxious face. She smiled weakly: "Yunting, you're here."
Huo Yunting hugged her tightly, tears welling up in his eyes: "Yes, I'm here. You will be fine, I will definitely get you out."
He carefully picked up Xiao Muzhen and walked out of the ruins step by step.
Behind them, the abandoned shipyard was still burning, and the flames illuminated their figures, as if witnessing this reunion after life and death separation.
As they walked out of the rubble, rescuers also arrived at the scene.
Huo Yunting handed Xiao Muzhen over to the medical staff and got into the ambulance with her.
In the ambulance on the way to the hospital, Huo Yunting held Xiao Muzhen's cold hand tightly, his eyes full of worry and guilt.
The medical staff were conducting a preliminary examination on Xiao Muzhen when they suddenly discovered blood stains on her pants, which immediately caused them to become nervous.
"What's going on?" the medical staff asked hurriedly.
Xiao Muzhen's face was as pale as paper. She said weakly, "I'm pregnant. My stomach hurts a little now."
Huo Yunting's heart sank suddenly, and a huge panic enveloped him.
He knew that Xiao Muzhen had been suppressing her fear and pain in order to protect their child when she was kidnapped by Jing Xuechu.
"Don't worry, the child will definitely survive." Huo Yunting held Xiao Muzhen's hand tightly, his voice choked with sobs.
