Chapter 908: Does Mr. Liang like you?
Shen Muchen smiled slightly, his eyes gently falling on Zhen Yan, “Not far.”
Xiao Muzhen watched the two of them from the side, a smile on her lips. She stood up tactfully and said, "You guys chat first. I'll go out and buy some breakfast."
Having said that, she quietly walked out of the ward, leaving the two of them in a relatively private space.
Silence returned to the ward again, and Shen Muchen pulled over a chair and sat down, facing Zhen Yan.
He looked at her carefully and found that although she was still a little weak, she was in good spirits. "How is your health? What did the doctor say?"
Zhen Yan smiled and shook her head. "The doctor said it was just a shock. There's nothing serious wrong with your body. You'll be fine after a few days of rest."
Shen Muchen nodded, a trace of heartache flashed in his eyes, “That’s good, you must be careful in the future and don’t let this happen again.”
Zhen Yan nodded slightly, a warm feeling welling up in her heart.
Just then, the door of the ward was pushed open.
They both turned their heads at the same time and were stunned when they saw Liang Zixuan standing at the door.
Liang Zixuan didn’t expect that when he came to see Zhen Yan, he would actually run into Shen Muchen.
His eyes darkened and his voice became extremely low, "It seems that I came at the wrong time."
Although she knew he had misunderstood, Zhen Yan had no intention of explaining.
"Mr. Liang, thank you for coming to see me."
Liang Zixuan was silent for a moment, then walked into the ward.
He slowly approached, his eyes moving back and forth between Zhen Yan and Shen Muchen, finally stopping at Zhen Yan's slightly pale face, with a hint of subtle complex emotions in his tone: "Seeing that you are okay, I feel relieved."
Zhen Yan smiled lightly, trying to make the atmosphere seem more relaxed. "Mr. Liang, thank you very much for rescuing me from the burning car. When I feel better, I'll treat you to a meal."
"Don't worry about it. The most important thing for you now is to recover from your injuries."
Seeing the undisguised emotion in Liang Zixuan's eyes, Zhen Yan's eyes darkened and she opened her eyes subconsciously.
"Yes, I will. Thank you Mr. Liang for your concern."
Liang Zixuan's eyes flashed with disappointment when he noticed Zhen Yan's distant attitude towards him.
"Then I won't bother you anymore. Have a good rest."
After saying that, he turned and left.
When only Shen Muchen and Zhen Yan were left in the ward, he suddenly said, “Zhen Yan, does Mr. Liang like you?”
Zhen Yan was slightly stunned when she heard this, "Why do you suddenly ask this?"
Shen Muchen smiled and said, "I just think that Mr. Liang cares about you. I have had contact with him before. He is quite indifferent and basically doesn't speak to anyone."
He could feel that Liang Zixuan treated Zhen Yan differently.
Zhen Yan lowered her eyes and said slowly, "Boss Liang and I knew each other before, but it's impossible for us to be together. I just want to film well now. I'm not interested in love affairs."
When Shen Muchen heard this, a complex emotion flashed in his eyes, but then he regained his gentleness and said softly: "Zhen Yan, I understand your thoughts. Everyone has different views and pursuits on love. What's important is that you know what you want and can work hard for it. If you need any help or just want to talk, I'm here."
Zhen Yan looked up and met Shen Muchen’s eyes that were full of sincerity and care, and a warm feeling surged in her heart.
"Thank you, Mu Chen. I'm really lucky to have a friend like you."
The two smiled at each other, and the atmosphere in the ward became more harmonious.
Shen Muchen changed the subject and talked about their new drama and some of his views on the plot, trying to make Zhen Yan feel more relaxed and cheerful.
