Chapter 19 Ji Hanchen Enters the House

Xu Qingyun didn't know how to respond.

It's just a bowl of ordinary clear soup noodles, anyone can make it, how delicious can it be?

All she wanted now was for Ji Hanchen to finish eating quickly and then leave.

Ji Hanchen ate his noodles elegantly, while Xu Qingyun sat on the sofa reading a book, but she couldn't concentrate on the contents at all.

A knock on the door startled Xu Qingyun slightly. When she saw it was Jiang Xun, she assumed he had come to pick up Ji Hanchen, and felt a surge of joy.

"Please wait a moment, Mr. Ji hasn't finished eating yet. Please come in and wait." Xu Qingyun's voice was much lighter.

Jiang Xun was very polite, "No, Miss Xu, I'm just here to deliver something to President Ji. My wife is waiting for me downstairs to watch a movie together. I've put the things down for you."

Jiang Xun glanced at Ji Hanchen. For President Ji's grand plan to win back his wife, he had fabricated a wife out of thin air.

She turned to look at Ji Hanchen, a hint of anger in her eyes.

She didn't like people being so rude; Ji Hanchen's things shouldn't be in her house.

Ji Hanchen hadn't finished eating, but he still put down his chopsticks and walked to the door.

He changed into his men's slippers and then placed his leather shoes by the door.

"Mr. Ji?" Xu Qingyun could no longer hide her annoyance.

She doesn't like anyone making decisions for her in her home.

Even when she was with Ji Lun, she never let him stay overnight at her place, nor did she allow his belongings to remain there.

"It's dangerous for a single girl to live alone; people will assume there's a man in your house."

"And these too, I had Jiang Xun just buy them. Hang them on the balcony, and the people across the street will think there's a man in your house."

“Yunyun, I know it’s disrespectful of me to act on my own initiative like this, but believe me, I just want to protect you.”

Ji Hanchen spoke very sincerely, but his words were a mixture of truth and falsehood.
