Chapter 3 Ji Hanchen felt for the first time that he needed to take a cold shower.

Ji Hanchen recalled the woman named Xu Jia he had seen at the funeral; she wasn't ugly, but she was vicious.

Ji Hanchen bluntly stated, "Ugly."

"Ugly?" Ji Huai was shocked. Xiao Yun was ugly? Did he want to find a celestial beauty?

Ji Hanchen hummed in agreement, then added, "Ji Lun's girlfriend is quite nice."

Ji Huai: "?"

He must be deaf, otherwise how could he hear such blasphemous words?

Is it right for an uncle to steal a woman from his nephew?

“I’ve already made Ji Lun break up with her and stay in England. You’re to take the blame for this.”

After Ji Hanchen finished speaking, he walked towards the stairs not far away.

Ji Huai doesn't mind taking the blame, but he has to marry that girl from the Xu family.

"That brat Ji Lun is a womanizer, he changes women one after another, what good women could he possibly have around him?"

Ji Hanchen paused for a moment: "She is beautiful and has a charm."

Ji Huai muttered, "Even if it has charm, can it have the charm of a little charm?"

Unfortunately, Ji Hanchen didn't hear it.

Back in his room, Ji Hanchen sent Xu Qingyun a message: Is Miss Xu asleep?

Xu Qingyun didn't want to reply at first, but considering that he was Ji Lun's uncle, she still replied: "Mr. Ji, is there something you need?"

Ji Hanchen frowned. Couldn't he chat with her if there was nothing wrong?

—Jilun is going to stay overseas to expand the market and won't be back for several years. As Jilun's uncle, I have a responsibility to remind Miss Xu that long-distance relationships are bound to end in heartbreak. Miss Xu shouldn't waste her youth on a playboy like Jilun. She should consider more suitable and high-quality men around her.

For example, me.

Ji Hanchen typed the last three words and then deleted them, because his purpose was too obvious and he didn't want Xu Qingyun to feel offended.

Xu Qingyun held her phone, feeling slightly displeased.

Ji Lun had never told her about staying abroad.

She met Jiren in Cambridge.

Ji Lun is handsome, rich, and generous, but he is also a womanizer.

However, during the two years that Ji Lun had been pursuing her, he seemed to have become a different person, so she agreed to be with him.

We had originally planned to return to China together, but unexpectedly he stayed in the UK.

Ji Hanchen: Why isn't Miss Xu saying anything?

Xu Qingyun: Thank you for reminding me, Mr. Ji. However, this is a matter between Ji Lun and me. As a third party, it is not appropriate for you, Mr. Ji, to interfere in your nephew's relationship.

She was reminding Ji Hanchen of their relationship.

Ji Hanchen ignored the last sentence and replied: You're too kind.

He waited a moment, but when Xu Qingyun didn't reply, he put his hands under his head and thought of how she looked at the hotel.

When she lay down, her bathrobe was open, revealing a patch of snow-white skin.

Although she managed to shield him in time, he could still see it clearly.

Ji Hanchen suddenly covered the burning desire in his eyes with his arm; he seemed to be a... lecher.

**

Ji Huai was surprised not to see his youngest son enter the study: "Isn't this workaholic working today?"

The butler thought for a moment and said, "Assistant Jiang said that Ninth Master went to the hotel where Young Master Ji Lun's girlfriend was staying and did such an outrageous thing. I think he's probably in love."

"It's good that he's in his twenties and still a virgin. If it weren't for his strong genes, I would really doubt his ability. Back in the day, when I was twenty-eight, I already had a five-year-old child."

Ji Huai married six wives in his lifetime, which can be described as a rather rich romantic history.

The butler chuckled dryly: "I heard that the master became a father at the age of seventeen, but the woman's child was lost. I don't know if it's true or not."

Ji Huai suddenly sighed again: "The engagement with the Xu family cannot be canceled; it was Xu Hongru's last wish."

After thinking for a moment, he said, "Go to the Xu family. I'm going to host a banquet for them tomorrow night to discuss the marriage."

**

On October 8th, the rain stopped and the sky cleared.

Xu Qingyun signed the contract, rented the house, and spent most of the day tidying it up.

Around 3 p.m., she took a taxi back to the Xu family home.

When she was kicked out of the Xu family, some precious things were left behind, especially the jade pendant that her grandfather had given her.

"Master, please wait a few minutes for me," Xu Qingyun said softly.

The driver nodded: "Okay, you can go ahead."

As Xu Qingyun got out of the car, she could hear Xu Jia's laughter coming from inside the villa.

Her expression turned cold.

Grandpa passed away only a short time ago, and Xu Jia is already laughing like this?!

Back then, for the sake of that jade pendant, Xu Jia heartlessly pushed her grandfather down. Now that her grandfather has passed away, Xu Jia shows no sadness whatsoever. Isn't she afraid of retribution at all?

Xu Qingyun rang the doorbell, and the maid who was mowing the lawn nearby was stunned when she saw her.

Xu Qingyun wore a beige cheongsam with a side opening and khaki trim. The fabric was digitally jacquard and had a low slit, which suited her very well.

Today her hair was styled with a gold hairpin, giving it a very antique feel.

The maid was momentarily stunned. She had always thought the second young lady was beautiful, but now she was even more amazed.

The maid immediately called out, "Young Miss, the Second Young Miss is back."

The laughter from that side immediately stopped.

Xu Jia is 1.6 meters tall, half a head shorter than Xu Qingyun, and looks rather petite, unlike Xu Qingyun who has a more dignified presence.

In the past, when others saw them, they always thought Xu Qingyun was a rich young lady, which made Xu Jia resentful.

Xu Jia walked to the door and narrowed her eyes fiercely: "Xu Qingyun, you couldn't beat me ten years ago, and you still can't beat me ten years later! Not to mention anything else, without my permission, you can't even get through the door today."

Xu Qingyun suddenly lowered her eyes, grabbed Xu Jia's hair, and slammed her face hard against the carved door.

"Ah, you bitch, let me go!" Xu Jia screamed. There were some iron spikes on the door; what if they ruined her face?

Xu Qingyun's expression was cold, and her voice was so calm that it had no inflection: "Open the door."

Xu Jia was unwilling to give up, but Xu Qingyun wouldn't let go, and she might really be disfigured. All she could do was scream at the maid: "Are you dead? Open the door right now!"
