Bai Ruiting immediately put on his white coat and headed towards the emergency room.
From afar, Bai Ruiting saw Ji Hanchen carrying a girl as he got out of the car, and he quickly contacted Shen Luo and Lu Chuan.
"Han Chen." Bai Ruiting's voice was gentle as he glanced into Ji Han Chen's arms.
Ji Hanchen urged, "Hurry up and check her out. She's burning up. She hasn't answered me the whole way. Is she delirious from the fever?"
Bai Ruiting quickly had Ji Hanchen carry Xu Qingyun inside, then bent down to check on her.
"How is it?" Ji Hanchen couldn't wait for Bai Ruiting to tell him.
Bai Ruiting replied, "You have a high fever, 41 degrees Celsius. Do you have any other symptoms? Do you have a runny nose? Do you have a cough?"
Upon hearing this, Ji Hanchen couldn't help but feel a little regretful, "I took her to Yunling Mountain to see the stars tonight."
Bai Ruiting frowned. "Normally, a common cold wouldn't cause a fever to spike to 41 degrees Celsius so quickly."
"Is it possible that the shock was excessive?"
Bai Ruiting licked his lips. "We can't rule it out. Should we bring down the fever first, then go home or be hospitalized?"
Ji Hanchen nodded, "Be hospitalized. Don't leave the hospital until Yunyun's fever breaks."
Bai Ruiting couldn't help but chuckle. "Okay."
He has always been a gentleman with a good temper, and since this is a girl that Ji Hanchen likes very much, Bai Ruiting naturally cares about her even more.
Ji Hanchen took Xu Qingyun to the ward and stayed by her bedside after she started receiving an IV drip.
Worried that the cold medicine would irritate his blood vessels, he held the IV tubing with both hands.
Bai Ruiting glanced at it, smiled, and left the ward.
At that moment, Shen Luo and Lu Chuan also rushed over.
Lu Chuan asked excitedly, "Where are they? Let me see them quickly."
