The door was suddenly opened.
Ji Hanchen's eyes were like ice. "What are you doing here?!"
Ren Anjing's gaze sharpened. "What are you doing here?!"
Ji Hanchen scoffed, "Isn't Ms. Ren the one who loves to spy on me? Doesn't she know I'm here?!"
Ji Hanchen's voice was as cold as ice, and he would immediately bristle with steel spikes and armor whenever he saw Ren Anjing!
"Ji Hanchen, I'm your mother! You have no right to talk to me like that! I'll say it again, you leave here right now and break up with Xu Qingyun immediately! You can marry any girl, but not her!"
Ren Anjing lowered her voice, but it was still extremely stern.
Ji Hanchen gritted his teeth, "Has Ms. Ren forgotten my answer? I will marry no one but her!"
Ren Anjing slammed her hand against the doorframe, desperately suppressing her anger. "Ji Hanchen, you're talking back to your mother for a complete stranger. How can you face all the sacrifices I've made for you over the years?"
