Xu Qingyun waited for Fang Qing to finish speaking; this was a quality ingrained in her very being.
Fang Qing's words made Xu Qingyun very uncomfortable, so she retorted, "If Ji Hanchen doesn't like it, it's all in vain no matter how much Ms. Ren likes it. Miss Fang will never become Mrs. Ji from Secretary Fang."
Fang Qing's expression changed drastically, as if someone had touched a nerve!

"Old Shen, don't do it," Lu Chuan instructed.
Shen Luo didn't respond, but instead lifted her long legs and headed towards the staircase.
Xu Qingyun knew that Shen Luo was the owner of Yiye City and that he had connections in both the legitimate and underworld circles, but she was not worried that Shen Luo would harm her.
She caught up with Shen Luo, but was immediately grabbed by the neck by a large hand and pinned against the wall.

Xu Qingyun took a slight breath, then used all her strength to push Shen Luo away.
Shen Luo was pushed so hard that she staggered and almost fell backward.
He looked at Xu Qingyun in disbelief, never expecting that this seemingly frail girl would have such great strength.
The push she made just now had used up almost all of Xu Qingyun's strength, and now she could only lean against the wall.
Staring coldly at Shen Luo, Xu Qingyun's voice was tinged with annoyance, "Mr. Shen is ill and needs to make an appointment as soon as possible."
