Ji Hanchen was taken aback at first, then a hint of joy flashed in his eyes, "Yunyun broke off the engagement?!"
Shen Luo: "..."
Lu Chuan's eyes widened, then he patted his long, shapely legs with glee, "You're still this happy that she broke off the engagement?! Have you lost your mind?"
Bai Ruiting frowned. "Han Chen, are you feeling unwell?"
As he spoke, he was about to examine Ji Hanchen.
Ji Hanchen glanced coldly at the three of them and said indifferently, "Yunyun's grandfather arranged for her to be engaged to Ji Lun. After the engagement was broken off, she had no further relationship with Ji Lun."

Lu Chuan burst out laughing, "I laughed so hard I split my legs."

Bai Ruiting was also surprised, never expecting Ji Hanchen to be so serious and deeply in love, but these feelings came so quickly.
Shen Luo sneered, "Ji Hanchen, you know yourself..."

Since Ji Hanchen likes Xu Qingyun so much, how could he not have investigated her?

After saying that, he suddenly stood up.
Lu Chuan glanced at her and then stood up as well. "Old Ji, don't blame Shen Luo for being hostile towards Miss Xu. Shen Luo is doing this for your own good. We grew up together, and we only consider things from your perspective. We can't consider others. Even if it's a misunderstanding, it's because we care about you."
Ji Hanchen nodded. "I know."
"Alright, get some rest. We'll investigate this. Shen Luo has connections, and he also has his brother, so we'll definitely investigate faster than your family."
After Lu Chuan finished speaking, he put his hands in his pockets and walked out.

"Get lost!" Lu Chuan cursed, kicked him, and then laughed.
