Jiang Xun stood to the side, trembling. The enraged President Ji was terrifying; he hadn't seen him like that in a long time.
Since meeting Miss Xu, President Ji has become much more cheerful and gentle, and now he's gone back to his old ways.
"Chiang Hsun!"
Jiang Xun shuddered. "President Ji, I'm here."
"I'm asking you, doesn't she have even the slightest bit of attraction to me?" Ji Hanchen looked at Jiang Xun with a stern expression.
Jiang Xun was almost in tears. How could he know such a thing? He wasn't a mind reader like Miss Xu.
However, as a qualified special assistant, he still risked being bombarded and said bluntly: "President Ji, you mentioned Miss Qin in front of Miss Xu and asked her if she would attend your wedding. How do you expect Miss Xu to answer that?"
"Miss Xu is a very proud person at heart. Even if she minds, she won't say it out loud."
Ji Hanchen's anger subsided considerably, and he raised an eyebrow. "You mean she minds?"
“Uh…yes, I mean even if Miss Xu minds, she won’t show it.” Jiang Xun emphasized the word “even if”, hoping that President Ji would understand.

Ji Hanchen sneered, "She still cares, which means she's jealous, right?"
"Ah...yes." If you insist on understanding it that way, there's nothing I can do about it.
But Chiang Hsun dared not utter a single word of the nonsense that followed.
Ji Hanchen closed his eyes. "Since she minds, it means she's not completely indifferent to me; she's just too shy to say it."
Chiang Hsun wanted to laugh, but dared not.
Mr. Ji, you are skilled at self-management.
He felt that President Ji would soon be like an unkillable cockroach, clinging to Miss Xu again, begging for affection.
