Xu Qingyun was slightly moved. "Did you know you would meet me today?"
Ji Hanchen looked at her seriously, "I'm not sure."
"Then this hairpin..." Xu Qingyun didn't finish her sentence.
Ji Hanchen didn't speak, but instead took the hairpin from her head and used a new hairpin to fix her dark hair.
“I carry it with me every day because I don’t know when I will run into you, and I’m not sure if I’m still qualified to give it to you.”
“Yunyun, I resent you for breaking off the engagement, yet I can’t control my infatuation with you.”
I think of you day and night, and my feelings of hating you and loving you keep fluctuating.
"But in the end, I still couldn't give up liking you."
"Yunyun, please stop torturing me. I'm going crazy. Let's not call off the engagement, okay?"
Ji Hanchen never hesitated to express his feelings for Xu Qingyun.
From their very first meeting, he domineeringly forced her to break up with Ji Lun, and then repeatedly expressed his love for her.
He can be domineering at times, and reserved at others, but he always clearly conveys his affection.
He didn't have any of those so-called love skills; all he had was endless affection and joy.
Xu Qingyun had heard Ji Hanchen say he liked her many times, but she was still touched every time she heard it.
My heart is racing and I'm having trouble breathing.
She reached up and touched the hairpin behind her head. The silver texture felt the same as the previous one, still warm from his fingers.
Lowering her eyelids, Xu Qingyun said softly, "Ji Hanchen, let me think about it."
After all, marriage is not just a matter between the two of them; if Ms. Ren doesn't agree, they can't be together.
As for her own feelings for Ji Hanchen, Xu Qingyun thought that she did like Ji Hanchen.
Unlike her feelings for other people, Ji Hanchen was special to her.
Upon hearing this, Ji Hanchen smiled easily and said, "Okay, but don't keep me waiting too long."
"Um."
"Yunyun, will you come to my house?"
Xu Qingyun shook her head, "I'm staying with my cousin now, and the access control is very strict."
Ji Hanchen's handsome face darkened slightly, and a hint of jealousy rose in his heart. "After all, my cousin isn't my biological brother. Even if he were, it wouldn't be appropriate for a man and a woman to live together alone."
Xu Qingyun frowned. "We're not a single man and woman living together. I'm on the third floor, and my cousin is on the second floor. He doesn't even go to the third floor."
"Even so, I'm still jealous." Ji Hanchen said unhappily.
Xu Qingyun blinked. "Ji Hanchen, you seem to have a lot of experience in relationships."
Ji Hanchen was both amused and exasperated. "Yunyun, the first time I fell in love was with you."
Xu Qingyun placed her hands in front of her, carrying her handbag, her steps light and slow, every gesture exuding composure and elegance.
"Then how did you know it was jealousy?" Xu Qingyun asked.
Ji Hanchen followed her steps, "Yunyun, do you need someone else to tell you if you're jealous? Your heart will tell you."
"When I see you with other men, I feel sour and jealous. I want to separate you from them and hold you in my arms to assert my ownership."
"Don't you love me? Weren't you angry when you heard I was getting engaged to Qin Shuang?"
Xu Qingyun pursed her lips and thought for a moment, then nodded affirmatively, "I was very angry, and I even unconsciously looked at your Moments."
Ji Hanchen's heart leaped with joy. "So, this is what love is. Yunyun, you love me! This is love!"
Xu Qingyun was amused by Ji Hanchen's serious yet excited expression.
It seems like she's the one who should be saying these things, but Ji Hanchen said them for her.
“Ji Hanchen, you’re very arrogant,” Xu Qingyun said, rarely joking.
Ji Hanchen chuckled, "It was Yunyun who gave me the right to be arrogant, because you like me."
Xu Qingyun smiled slightly, wondering why she felt so happy.
My heart felt like it was coated with honey, so sweet, the sweetness even spreading to every cell.
**
Jiang Xun was waiting outside when he saw Ji Hanchen leading Xu Qingyun out, and he couldn't help but smile like an aunt.
President Ji, you've finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel!
Tsk tsk, I knew President Ji would have to come crawling to me, didn't I? Sure enough.
Opening the car door, Jiang Xun dutifully said, "Mr. Ji, Ms. Xu, please get in the car."
The thought of having to take Xu Qingyun home as soon as he got in the car made Ji Hanchen turn to her and ask, "How about we take a walk, Yunyun?"
Xu Qingyun lowered her head. Today she was wearing high heels, which weren't suitable for walking very far.
However, meeting Ji Hanchen here tonight and learning that he and Qin Shuang were not engaged still made her somewhat happy.
She also wanted to ask about her mother and Ms. Ren.
“Okay.” Xu Qingyun nodded.
Jiang Xun quickly asked, "President Ji, should we go buy Miss Xu a pair of flat shoes?"
Ji Hanchen glanced at him coldly, "Mind your own business."
Couldn't he have thought of that himself?
Moreover, he wanted to carry Yunyun on his back, like those lovey-dovey young couples on a university campus. He thought it looked so sweet and wanted to try it himself.
Jiang Xun was stunned for a moment, then immediately understood what President Ji meant, and quickly slapped his mouth, "I was too talkative."
Ji Hanchen held Xu Qingyun's hand, and the two walked slowly along the streetlights.
Chiang Hsun drove at a snail's pace, following closely beside the two.
“Yunyun, there’s something you’ve been hiding from me, and I’m very angry,” Ji Hanchen suddenly said.
Xu Qingyun hummed softly.
"Why didn't I tell you it was Mr. Songzhu?" Ji Hanchen asked with a reproachful look. "I even had Jiang Xun send you two billion."
Xu Qingyun chuckled, "But you didn't ask me. When you came to repair the jade pendant that time, I thought you had already recognized me."
