Chapter 162 Revenge

It's New Year's Day again.

Zhao Xiaoyue was stopped by Lan Caihe at the school gate.

Four top-of-the-line Porsches were parked side by side on the road, with bodyguards standing in a row.

Min'er said helplessly, "I told you I would go."

Zhao Xiaoyue stared blankly at Lan Caihe's "fierce and dangerous" expression.

"What kind of trouble are you causing now?"

"Didn't you promise me last year that you would come to my house to play?"

Zhao Xiaoyue slapped her forehead. She had forgotten!

Min'er really didn't know what to say.

Xiaoyue couldn't go last year; she went alone. The Lan family only had Caihe spending the New Year alone, which was cold and quiet.

Blue's parents were out, and Blue Wind had gone to the company.

Isn't Lan Caihe the only one in the family?

I don't know if her family is still around this year.

"Wait a moment, I'll make a call and then I'll be right back!"

Last year something came up and I was delayed, but this year this guy just blocked the doorway.

The call was made to Zhao Zhe, and Zhao Zhe answered quickly.

Zhao Xiaoyue explained that she was going to a classmate's house.

Zhao Zhe looked at Sister Man sitting on the opposite sofa with a dark face. He was about to give her a heads-up when he was stopped by a death stare from the comic convention.

Finally, he said, "Good luck, sister!" and hung up.

Zhao Xiaoyue looked at the phone that had been hung up, not thinking much about what those words meant.

He turned around and happily followed Lan Caihe into the car.

Situ Ming watched as the little girl left with her classmates; it seemed he had no chance again!

Duan Yunfei and Fang Yan were sitting in a car across the street. "What do you think Ninth Brother is looking at?"

Duan Yunfei: What do you think?

Why does he keep staring at other people's cars?

"have no idea"

If you speak in a dialect, you can't keep up with the conversation; it kills the whole thing.

Situ Ming walked over, and the bodyguard opened the car door. He sat in the back seat.

His expression was unclear, and his overall demeanor was very tense.

Duan Yunfei was used to it. "Li San wants to see you."

"Let's go straight to the company!"

Li San came to him, the boss, about the Moon Bay matter.

He kept a close eye on the process there. When the funding chain broke down, Situ Ming mortgaged everything he could.

That's how they got through the dangerous period.

In just a few years, Situ Ming has grown from a clueless boy into a young king.

He went from being apprehensive and doubtful at the beginning to becoming determined.

In Jiangcheng Real Estate's spacious office, there were still the four of them.

Li San: "Boss, the Moon Bay project will be completed in a year, and the buildings are almost all cleared out."

Situ Ming: "Hmm."

Duan Yunfei: "Can I ask a question that's not on the same topic?"

Fang Yan also became interested, and then Duan Yunfei asked, "Who are you planning to sell that best luxury villa in Moon Bay to?"

Several people had wondered about this issue, because there was a constant stream of people wanting that house, and the prices they offered were all outrageous.

Situ Ming stubbed out his cigarette. "I need to keep it."

"???"

Several people were thinking to themselves that the boss was talking less and less each day.

"After the Cynthia Bay and Moon Bay projects are completed, we will take a break for a while, and then focus on developing the land in the third ring road of Kyoto."

"Huh?? It's starting already?" Fang Yan exclaimed in surprise.

Li San asked, "The specific time?"

Situ Ming's eyes were deep. "The year after next spring, let's prepare in advance. Fang Yan will stay in Kyoto starting next year."

Li San and Duan Yunfei exchanged a glance; they were still in a rush!

Duan Yunfei tentatively asked, "Are you planning to apply to Kyoto University?" Situ Ming nodded, "Kyoto Yenching University, Law School!"

Alright then, since the boss has made the decision, they have no objections.

Li San stayed behind to leave. Two years had passed, and he didn't know how the young master's investigation was going.

Situ Ming sat down in the chair behind his desk. "Sit."

Li San didn't stand on ceremony and sat down directly on the sofa.

Situ Ming cut to the chase, "The outcome might be a bit unbearable. Do you still want to hear it?"

"What else is unbearable? We already endured it ten years ago."

Li San is the kind of good man that people talk about, a man who isn't readily available in the market.

After graduating from university, he was assigned to work for a tobacco company and got married very early.

After marriage, they had a son and a daughter, who were cared for by Li San's wife and parents.

His life revolves around going to work and coming home, and he loves his wife very much.

He thought his family would live in harmony and continue like this forever.

Unexpectedly, one day he worked overtime a little late and called home to say he would be home late.

I've worked overtime before, but this time something unexpected happened.

It was pouring rain that day, and he didn't get home until 11 o'clock.

When he got home, the door was open, and a lot of people were gathered in the yard. When they saw Li San return, they all turned around and looked at him.

The eyes of these people held sorrow, pity, sighs, and even schadenfreude.

He pushed through the crowd and entered the house, not understanding why.

The two children were covered in blood and hung from an electric fan by rope.

His parents lay face down on the living room floor, covered in blood, staring intently at the bedroom door.

Several police officers around him also looked at Li San with pity.

Li San wiped his dry eyes and tried to swallow hard, only to find that his mouth was dry and bitter.

Struggling to enter the bedroom, Li San's wife was completely naked, her head touching the floor, her body on the bed, and what was that soft, slapping thing on the sheets?

He tried to look ahead again, still trying to figure out what it was.

His wife had a patch of skin missing from her head, leaving a hole from which the blood was flowing.
