Chapter 174 Yu Muqi's Accident

A waitress pushed in a cart of wine; she was stunningly beautiful and innocent-looking. As she bent over, her ample cleavage swayed as she wiped the table.

All the young masters' eyes were fixed on that snow-white surface.

The waiter looked so unpleasant that he wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Seeing this, Yu Muqi pushed aside the person next to her and pointed at the waiter, "You, come here!"

The waiter reluctantly approached Yu Muqi, keeping her head down and nervously clutching the hem of her skirt.

Those present were either wealthy second-generation businessmen or rich young men from the military. Yu Muqi wanted to win them over, so he devised a plan.

"Go and entertain the guests, and you'll get four times your salary today!"

The private room suddenly erupted in noise.

The wealthy young men stared intently at the stunningly beautiful waitress.

The waiter, carrying the drinks, walked step by step towards the crowd staring intently at her...

Yu Muqi's assistant is going crazy; Tao Ge has already made four or five phone calls.

He had to obey both Brother Tao and Master Qi's orders, and he was so anxious that he was pacing around in circles.

A cold wind howled that night, a sign that snow was imminent.

When Zhao Xiaoyue and the others came out of the hot pot restaurant, Zhang Xiaomeng had already parked the car on the side of the road.

If you ask him why he didn't attend the dinner party, he'll just say, "Eating is nothing compared to flying."

Hou Taotao and the others each had their own driver, and they only dispersed after the captain left.

The next day, Zhao Xiaoyue woke up to find the sky had fallen!

Yu Muqi's two small clubs, along with Huarong Port City, were sealed off!

Hou Taotao was still asleep in the morning when a phone rang urgently.

He opened his eyes and glanced at the clock on the wall. It was not yet six o'clock. Your meeting was still a long way off. Who was this?

Hou Taotao threw back the covers and answered the phone. A hurried voice came from the other end, "Brother Tao, something's happened!"

Small apartment at the comic convention

At eight o'clock in the morning, Zhao Xiaoyue finished washing up, got dressed, and was about to leave when there was a knock on the door.

After finishing her shift, Min'er went to work part-time, and Zhao Xiaoyue told her to rest for a few more days.

Min'er simply smiled faintly and told Zhao Xiaoyue that she would earn enough money to go to university before the college entrance examination.

She works two jobs every day and can save about 500 yuan a month.

So now she's all alone in the mornings.

Zhao Xiaoyue went to open the door, and Zhang Xiaomeng said nervously, "Boss, Yu Muqi is in trouble. All his businesses have been seized, and Huaxiang Media Co., Ltd. has been sued!"

After a few seconds of reaction, Zhao Xiaoyue asked again, "What did you say?"

Zhang Xiaomeng swallowed hard. "The helmsman, Yu Muqi, committed murder. The body is currently in the VIP room of Huarong Port City. Someone reported that Huaxiang Media was involved in prostitution, and it has been shut down."

Zhao Xiaoyue gasped in shock. "Where are Yu Mu and the other seven? How are they?"

Zhang Xiaomeng: "He has been taken away by the Shanghai police, and Tao Ge is following up on this matter."

Zhao Xiaoyue finished dressing. "Let's go to the police station."

Once she was seated in the back of the car, she asked Zhang Xiaomeng, "Does Yu Muqi have a little assistant?"

Zhang Xiaomeng had a hard time explaining it: "He was murdered. When they found him, his head was under the toilet seat, and his skull was shattered."

Zhao Xiaoyue looked serious and immediately called Hou Taotao. The phone was answered after only one ring.

"Hey, helmsman!"

With a calm expression, Zhao Xiaoyue instructed, "First, have our own people search the entire site again, leaving no stone unturned, not even a hair on the head. Make sure they are reliable people doing this. Second, find all the people involved yesterday and send me their information, including the deceased and the waiters. Third, if there are any witnesses or physical evidence, protect them and do so as soon as possible!"

Hou Taotao immediately made a phone call to instruct people to take care of it. Lao Qi was still detained, and a lawyer was mediating between them.

After giving her instructions, she frowned slightly. How could such a thing have happened?

There were no obvious problems with Yu Muqi's accounts, and she had secretly inspected them several times. It was impossible for something this serious to have happened.

But now, something that shouldn't have happened has happened.

At the police station, Yu Muqi was still completely bewildered.

He couldn't possibly be drunk to the point of being incoherent, nor could he possibly touch those women; he's not Lao Jiu.

Furthermore, he has memory problems and doesn't remember anything about what happened yesterday. He only remembers that the woman was pulled away by someone before she even fell on him.

Why was she lying on his bed with her clothes disheveled and her eyes wide open in death?

Inside the interrogation room, Yu Muqi sat blankly in the interrogation chair, handcuffed.

The policeman across from me tapped on the table. "I'm asking you a question. So what's going on?"

Yu Muqi shook her head, "I don't know, I don't remember."

Police officer: "Someone has reported that Huaxiang Media Co., Ltd. is involved in illegal activities, including organizing prostitution. Tell me what happened?"

Yu Mu immediately flew into a rage, "What utter bullshit! Which son of a bitch said that! What evidence does he have? This is a frame-up!"

The first flaw has appeared.

Here, he shouldn't say that someone has any evidence. A sentence that is meaningless in itself can be interpreted by others as someone having done such a thing.

If he vehemently denies it, there will be no flaws. But Yu Muqi asked, what evidence does he have?

The police officers immediately concluded that there was something fishy going on with large companies like Gangcheng and Huaxiang Media.

Police officer: "So you're saying that Flower Media really does engage in illegal activities and organize prostitution?"

Yu Muqi was so angry that he slammed his fist on the chair. "How the hell do you talk like that? Believe me or not, I'll sue you for defamation!"

"Back then, I ran a legitimate company!"
